The crazy thing is, we haven’t offered any new DB’s. The staff must feel they are still in it for Tyson because there is no way they are ok with only taking 4DBs in the class, right?

Umm this staff is only taking 1 DT. They clearly are ok with imbalance. Plus they can blame their pathetic losses on “depth” AGAIN next year and fool all the simps.

Fire Rumph. Sick of this piece of **** Sony Michel bagman.

Unless we strike out, we are looking at probably 3 DTs. Maybe you've missed the latest updates on that.

Are all our targets announcing on NSD?

IMHO, the early signing day pressured a lot of the kids who might have normally committed in January, to grab their spot during the early signing period so they were not left without a chair when the music stopped. This has left mostly kids who are gonna wait until the later signing day and not commit until going all the way through the recruiting process, and I think the kids we are looking at pretty much all fit that description.

I really do have a hard time believing we can't land Campbell. Rumph believed in him, got him into Heritage, switched him to CB, coached him to be the player he is now, and his pops loves Rumph. You're telling me, that loyalty means nothing? Take your talents and run?

If he doesn't end up a Cane that is some **** running both ways. It's an indictment on Rumph for not capitalizing on what he did for Ty. Also, it's kind of messed up by Tyson to take his success that Rumph helped coach up and run up to Georgia. No loyalty. Ty has handled himself well thus far, but if he does go to Georgia that is messed up. He doesn't owe Miami anything, but looks like he does Coach Rumph. Maybe I don't know the whole story?

The only reaction I've seen from Ty about a ball game was when we lost in the Orange bowl. That kid was rooting for The U and he was upset we lost. Don't think this is over yet.

I'm absolutely not gonna say anything bad about Tyson directly because I have tooooo much respect for @Rattler Cane 305. But this here is a valid point. Kids like Tyson are going to succeed whether they got to Miami, Bama, or Toldeo. Its that simple. He is a bona fide first rounder. To me, the three contenders can all say they will be contenders during his 3 years there, and Id say Miami has a better shot than UGA considering all that they lose this season. That being said, whats the sell? How can Tyson, as a seemingly mature, and smart, respectful young man (all based on how he has seemingly handled the process) say no, not to Miami, but to family in Rumph? How can a relationship formed over one year with UGA and Bama staffs hold more weight than his relationship with Rumph, who we are finding out hasn't just known him, but has taken him along to all his stops from optimist to AH, to the CB position? That to me sounds like a mentor, and we have all had mentors we idolize. Why now is that not enough? We can offer the one and only thing no one else can and that is to win in front of your city and family. Miami Bama and UGA will all win over the next 3 years in some capacity, and regardless of his choice he is going to excel at his craft and his position (Bama and UGA aren't the only schools that can get you to the league, and UGA hasn't really put many STAR DBs in the league recently), so why is Rumph and Miami not enough? What happened? To me there is something else happening. I don't even know that Rumph isn't busting his *** knowing he NEEDS to land TC. I think he knows he must. On the flip side, where is that loyalty? Why has it been this hard for Ty to realize this dude raised me in this game, and showed me the ropes, and I'm gonna ride with him till the end? That's really bugging me. Again, not trying to say anything negative but man where is the loyalty?

Certainly a good point.

The staff feeling confident doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies though. LOL

I'm rolling with the reverse ju ju. They've felt confident a bunch of times only to be left with their dorks in their hands. So, I'm playing opposite on this one. We get all 4 AH guys.

Bring it home Chise!

Chise if that happens; we’ll rename CanesInsight to ChiseInsight. Lol

I'm gonna will this into existence, my long-time pal.

I see everyone giving up, but I haven't seen Tyson or Surtain shut down their recruiting. They're both still planning visits from what I've heard.
Tyson, from the beginning, has swayed from hot school to hot school only to later cool on them after he gets home. And Surtain just keeps hanging around. LSU is down and out with a drunken dolt for a HC. Junior is tight with his momma.

UM's gonna do what we should do and get those 4 guys from down the street.

I would have rather offered a guy like Johnny Ford who is undersized but electric I think we need 1 or 2 of these guys instead of Bethel. Waste of a DB spot

Or miles jones from heritage. Pure playmaker

AH coaches have all told me that Miles Jones was the most important player for them. The kid is electric and versatile.

They're feeding Pete gloom and doom so they look like superheroes when they pull all 4. That "we feel confident" rap hasn't worked well for them publicly.

#InChiseWeTrust . UGA might fizzle out by NSD and Miami will have had the last visit. IF we get the visit we win if we don't we don't. That easy. Remember the Golden Chise Rule, if they visiting they open to being crooted.

im saving my lantern & pitchfork for after signing day. absolutely zero reason to bring any negative energy towards our program/staff until then. all it can do is damage. the only purpose is serves is to make a poster/fan feel good about themselves for being "right". no one is getting fired between now and signing day.

every single cane fan should have their cane shades on until all the signatures are in. at then at that point, everyone is fair game.

You got any extra pitchforks? Lost my last one last year during the Whoopie McFarland saga

A lot of people won't go at Tyson because of Rattler, but this concept has also been on me, too. He's no different than every other South Florida traitor over the years. He has no respect or loyalty to the guy that raised him in football up and coached him up since he was a kid. His dad is a retired firefighter and served the community for years per many posters, but he is going to run off to Athens, GA? Has he handled this with class? Absolutely. I don't take this as a reflection of his ability to handle the situation and the decision making process, but if he goes to Georgia instead of Miami he is 100% a traitor to his community and to the man that guided him to this point just like the dozens before him. I'm going to get a lot of **** for that, but it's the truth. He turned his back on his community, his mentor and possibly his boys for a program that's been talking to him for a year and is the flavor of the week that won't give 2 ***** about him once he is gone. Basically, another South Florida front runner.

a kid commits elsewhere? wish him luck on twitter. tell him he's still loved by #canesfam . the second he actually signs with another program, though? hostile tweets, death threats, and delivered bags of poo until that traitor deletes his social media accounts and is forced to relocate his family.

Not to be the wet blanket on Coach Macho's news, but didn't his guy tell him we were going to get Marco Wilson last year?

The best news for Um fans out of AH is that Chad Wilson stepped down after the championship game.

Under promise and over deliver. Should've been the coaches mantra from the get go
