Thread is proof positive that PORTALing ain’t for the weak
It is not the same situation and we sure seem to be further behind the eight ball this year. But I am going to withhold judgment until this has played out in its entirety.
This time last year this board was panicking because Ward had announced for the draft and it looked like we were screwed.
I get it, the situation is completely different, but if the insiders are "optimistic", I'll refrain from getting worked up until the dust has settled.

Gaby said he was "optimistic" about the direction yesterday. I refuse to believe that the staff doesn't have a plan. Could that plan blow up in their face? Absolutely. But I have to believe the plan is better than Matthew SupaFly Sluka.

Why? Because Gaby is preaching patience? He just pushes out the message the staff wants out there.

After listening to DMoney this morning, it sure sounds like we made a strong push for the USC kid and now USC is pushing back. If he ends up staying, then I will probably need to change my underwear.
