That would be an absurdly good class imo

With the team off for spring break, the staff is even more locked in on recruiting. Here are some names to monitor as business begins to pick up:

- Miami is aggressively pursuing offensive linemen in this class, which they believe is the best in years. This includes high-profile uncommitted targets (Jackson Cantwell, Keenyi Pepe) and flips. Two potential targets for a flip: four-star Mississippi State commit Emanuel Tucker (New Albany, MS) and Louisville commit Joel Ervin (Fort Myers). Miami is very high on the upside of both.

Miami also feels it is right in the game for Canon Pickett (Tampa) despite a strong push from Clemson. Some other names worth monitoring at OL include Breck Kolojay (IMG), Chancellor Campbell (St. Petersburg, FL), Da'Ron Parks (Sarasota, FL) and Micah Smith (Vero Beach, FL). These are all takes in a historic year for Florida OL. Sam Greer (Akron, OH) is another name to monitor.

- Miami has a legitimate shot at TE Ian Premer (Great Bend, KS), who visits this month. It will not be easy to pull him from the Midwest, but he has family in Naples.

- Names to monitor at DE include blue-chippers Asharri Charles (Venice, FL), Jaquez Wilkes (Wadley, AL) and Anthony "Tank" Jones (Mobile, AL).

- At defensive tackle, some of the top targets include James Johnson (Northwestern via Fort Myers), Vodney Cleveland (Birmingham, AL), Jaimeon Winfield (Dallas, TX), Keshawn Stancil (Raleigh, NC), Corey Wells (Petal, MS), and Oregon commit Tomuhini Topui (Orange County, CA).

- Wide receivers to track include Calvin Russell (Northwestern), Jasen Lopez (Chaminade), Jase Matthews (Leaseville, MS), Tristan Keys (Hattiesburg, MS) and Somourian Wingo (St. Augustine, FL).

- At linebacker, in addition to the obvious names (Izayia Williams, Tyler Atkinson), Miami is strongly pursuing Jacob Eberhart (St. Louis, MO) and CJ Sanna (Columbus, OH).

- At cornerback, some of the names we like are Danny Odem (Orlando, FL), Michigan commit Brody Jennings (Jacksonville, FL), Georgia commit Jontavius Wyman (Atlanta, GA) and CJ Hester (Cocoa, FL).

- At safety, keep an eye on Cortez Redding (Atlanta, GA), Tariq Green (Atlanta, GA) and Florida commit Devin Jackson (Orlando, FL).

- 2027 CB Kenton Dopson from Miami Norland commits tonight. Miami has a great shot there.

Are we pursuing Kennon the CB from tampa area, Sam Shields cousin?

@gogeta4 who are the OL you want in this class?

I don’t see it with Cantwell or Pepe given how expensive they might be but I don’t know much about playing OL

This would be our best OL Class ever landed.

* I personally have Johnnie Jones ranked as a higher OL so i would take him over Ryan Miret

If we will take a center then Miret for sure.

@DMoney This is probably the deepest OL ive ever seen in the state of Florida. I think we would have to capitalize on that im down with taking 6 OL honestly. In 2024 UGA took 7 Behemoths.

*Thats my dream haul that can possibly be had. I have backups for every one that gets taken off the board though. This ol class is LOADED. We have some instate guys that would be huge priorities for previous staffs that wont get a mention this year on the board.

@DMoney do you feel strongly that they would take all these kids at the moment? If anyone from that listed above wanted to commit RIGHT NOW They would accept it.

I wasn't sure on Tucker, Ervin, Pickett, Campbell, Parks…Seems like they like them and they all seem like strong tier 2.

And they'd obviously take Miret at the moment too, correct? What about Carr?

- At linebacker, in addition to the obvious names (Izayia Williams, Tyler Atkinson), Miami is strongly pursuing Jacob Eberhart (St. Louis, MO) and CJ Sanna (Columbus, OH).

Just seems like all will be tough pulls won't they? Doesn't Sanna have an OSU offer?

- At cornerback, some of the names we like are Danny Odem (Orlando, FL), Michigan commit Brody Jennings (Jacksonville, FL), Georgia commit Jontavius Wyman (Atlanta, GA) and CJ Hester (Cocoa, FL).

I thought Hester was a safety we like him at CB?
- At safety, keep an eye on Cortez Redding (Atlanta, GA), Tariq Green (Atlanta, GA) and Florida commit Devin Jackson (Orlando, FL).
.

**** GA has some stud safeties this year, all look good on tape

Totally agree and there is very realistic. With the new scholarship rule I think they take 6 no matter what.

At Cb; Im down with 1 of CJ Hester, Chauncey Kennon, Hayward Howard for the last spot.

Howard commits soon so we will see.
