These are 3 of the top projected OT's for the 2025 draft.

None of them have given up a Sack or hardly any pressures all season.

Has Bell played that well this year?

If not, how does he go from wherever he is now, to playing in the realm of not giving up a Sack or any pressures?

If yall can answer that, then I'll change my mind & join in on the Bell 1st rounder parade.

Please nobody shoot me it's just a question. Is it possible Mario/Mirabol are a touch overrated when it comes to the Oline? Obviously a huge step up from previous regimes but are they really the savants everyone claims they are? What is proof that they actually are? Aside from Penei do they have a lot of other 1st round draft picks?

Many people were also trying to project Zion Nelson as a 1st rounder in his early years too

Cam Robinson and Ryan Kelly

He was pretty **** good with pedestrian surroundings. Not sure what happened and way too early draft status. But you could see IT when he was on the field vs not.

Have to say I’m surprised recruiting for 2025 isn’t red hot. Mario is a maniac and he has an elite on field team with a very strong NIL game. He’s developed players here at UM already at RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, CB. That should matter.

The quieter the bank is the better our last month will be.

This is more like the ATM and you think you have like $21.39 in your account...just enough to withdraw the $20.

The big bank, I used to run in with the shiesty on.

What if we don't flip any of them? I'll remain cautiously optimistic, but we don't have much time left. If we go undefeated and go to the playoffs and end up outside of the top 10 in recruiting, then that is a big fail by Mario and staff in year three
Just take the Pickett NIL and up Hanks. Flip Hanks and grab Carter and one WR

Evidence for Mario/Mirabol: Miami’s O-line

Re: Bell, it’s very difficult to project something like the 2026 first round. He's a part-time player right now and there are only 32 spots. A lot has to happen and the odds are against him.

But I can definitely see him developing into a real NFL pick. 6’9, 340-pounders who can bend their knees are rare. His physical stature makes up for a lot, and he has some athleticism. Most importantly, he’s smart. That’s why proven OL guys like Cristobal and Mirabal (who both know what it’s supposed to look like) trust him and have him on the fast track.

He’ll continue to have growing pains, but it’s easy to see the vision.

@DMoney is the staff still pursuing USC commit Ty Jackson from Seminole Ridge or has that passed? I really liked his film.

Markel Bell will see $$$ and a high R1 projection going into 2026.

No.

I could be 100% wrong, but Idk how anyone can watch Bell play & see a 1st rounder.

In the last two drafts, 13 OT's have been taken in the 1st round;

1. Paris Johnson Jr - Oh ST
2. Darnell Wright - Tennessee
3. Peter Skoronski - Northwestern
4. Broderick Jones - UGA
5. Anton Harrison - Oklahoma

2024
1. Joe Alt - Notre Dame
2. JC Latham - Bama
3. Olu Fashanu - Penn ST
4. Taliese Fuaga - Oregon ST
5. Amarius Mims - UGA
6. Troy Fautana - Washington
7. Jordan Morgan - Arizona
8. Tyler Guyton - Oklahoma

All I can say is, if you watch those guys play, then watch the 2025 1st round projected OT's play, then watch Markel Bell play, it would be nothing short of a prodigious cosmic level evolution for him to be a 1st rounder by 2026.

He'd have to essentially go from being a borderline 6th man on the OL to being a 1st team National All-American that gives up 0 sacks & 0 pressures in just one offseason.

Is it possible?... Well, anything is possible.
Is it likely?... Idk, you tell me?

Don’t trust your eyes, trust the people shilling and reporting for the people making millions of dollars doing this for a living.

Whoever is doing our draft evals is coked out of their mind. First Mccoy nonsense then Arroyo with hardly any production. Now Bell who has been a situational swing tackle? This is past the point of out of hand but it certainly detracts from the 2025 class.
