Just how tight are Chantz and Jalen?
Not sure if this is sarcasm bc of the rumors with chantz but if youre serious, I work with a guy up here in Jax who's daughter went to HS with them both. They've grown up together so I was just putting 2 and 2 together that chantz may be more inclined to stick around if rivers does. Obviously not a guarantee tho

I don't know who needs to hear this but the Chili Cheese Burrito is on the secret menu at Taco Bell....apparently it always has been since it first disappeared.....I feel like i just found out I have an 18 year old child or something.....how do I make up all the time we've lost?

I think the country kid stuff 100 percent matters and is a thing. Miami and big cities aren’t for everyone. This kid is actually intrigued by the long term of being developed by an all time great . Miami is very much a threat because of that.
I always say the country kids love sec. Miami is not for everyone. The reason northeast and cali kids have come over the years is because they use to a more fast paced way of life

You don’t want centers to be big….because that’s just how things are, or for an actual reason?

Because you need a guy with a relatively low center of gravity, quick twitch, with good bend, recovery, and mobility.

You don't want no big 6'7 330 pound MF playing center if you want any variety in your playbook. Especially the run and screen game.

Good luck on having a Giant MF with good enough knees and quick enough feet to get outside the hashes to block DBs.

So... as long as they are athletic enough its fine... lol. Let me put it this way, do you think Francis Mauigoa would succeed as a center physically?
Cause while Mauigoa is listed at like 315lbs on the roster, the staff was talking about how he was 6'6" 342lbs with 20% body fat back in the summer.

I think yall are just presuming because Centers typically aren't that size that it means they can't do it, when the reality is nobody puts guys with that size and athleticism at center because it's more valuable to have them at Tackle - or they want to be tackles and are willing to go somewhere else to be one. But FOR US we have a lot of tackle builds. So in the event we want to get our 5 tackle build guys in the lineup, one of them would have to try out center. Again maybe it wouldn't work. Or maybe a guy like Samson doesn't step up, or Bell isn't quite ready to play immediately, in which case this is a moot point...

Give me a guy with a low center of gravity, long arms, good knees, with toughness and good feet no taller than 6'4 preferably 6'2 1/2.

There are some exceptions to the rules but having a big 6'7 330 pound center isn't ideal as they body doesn't typically come with the attributes needed to be successful as a center in a GOOD offense.

Edit: A 6'7 330 pound center is not moving like this. Look how nimble Kelce is. Show me a big ogre *** tackle with this ability than could snap the ball and move with that short area quickness.

Well we presume because it's unprecedented. We can look at the physiology of centers past for an understanding.

It's one thing to have the athleticism to kick out and block a DE/OLB and it's an entirely different athleticism to keep knees bent in full squat position for at least 30 seconds on every offensive snap, snap a clean ball, and catch a blitzing defender as well as a bull rush from a DT.

So no my Cane bredren it ain't just " if they have the athleticism" cause while Tackles are Athletic in the phone booth edge of the Tackle box they aren't bend knee athletic in the interior of the Tackle Box. It's hard for dudes that tall to get low consistently

And maybe that lack of knee bend is overcome by sheer size lol. Also I think you'll find that Centers aren't really much more athletic than tackles if at all lol. I'd say a lot of the time the center is the least athletic player on the team. Sure a very athletic one enables a lot of things, but I'm not convinced Kinsler/McCoy wouldn't be considered an athletic Center.

But most of your critiques are strangely about height rather than weight, when it actually appears the weight is by far the bigger deviation from the norm between Kinsler/McCoy and a typical center. Being 6'6" as a center is not all that unique. It's definitely above average, but not crazy.

- Last year the first center drafted was Joe Tippmann who is 6'6" 313lbs
- In 2021 Landon ****erson was a 2nd round pick who is 6'5.5" 333lbs. Started at Bama as a Center.
- In 2017 Ethan Pocic was a 2nd round pick and is 6'6" 310lbs.
- In 2016 Graham Glasglow was a 3rd round pick (started at Center last game for Lions, but has also played a lot of guard) was 6'6" 307lbs.

So I mean It seems to me the height isn't the issue. If they slim down to 320-ish lbs, I think we're absolutely in Center range. If they are athletic enough, I'm really not seeing the issue.

@DMoney what’s up with jadais Richard playing bruh or Devontae brown more then Jaden Davis outside it’s making no sense other then just trying to help give the other team plays the kids a beast probably at nickle or 4th corner back up safety but we need to let our bigger corners develop and stafford maybe our best athlete at corner why’s he not getting any action it’s not been terrible but our corner play can be better I don’t get it why hype the kids and not play them
