Don’t think he needs to replace Arroyo. That’s Lofton’s role in my eyes. Maybe slightly different usage.

Schott = 2024 Lofton and Bauman = 2024 Williams

Still missing a McCormick but that’s not a lot to ask for someone like Carver or Gilbert to try to do. Sneak through uncovered and catch a TD pass a few times and throw some nice blocks pulling or on the edge leading a tunnel screen or a RB off tackle. Lofton probably takes that role himself as well.

What if McCormick's first 5 years were JuCo?

If anyone is interested in seeing Bauman against P4 competition, here are all-22 clips of Mensah from Tulane’s games against K-State and Oklahoma this year. Bauman is #87 and is in all of the plays except 3 of them by my count.

Thanks. Looks like he has the athleticism to split out wide agaisnt P4 comp as well. The double move TD split out against KSU was real nice. Looked like he was coming open against OU on the pick had Mensah held the ball a tick longer. Don't want to see him in max pass-pro here though.

You wanted Pratt instead of Cam?
No, Pratt didn’t play in 2024 while Cam was here. He was in the NFL. He did play in 23 when TVD was here. Rumor was that if TVD did transfer to Bama, we were going after Pratt. Totally different 23 year with him imo.

After Mario walks away in 2025 to take an NFL OL job we bring back Golden, fresh off a NC at ND.. to redeem the rebuild he started. The pillars are ready.

I’m kidding you, Joe.

Good addition to the room, still be ideal add a blocking TE. Any there any good blocking te per PFF available?

I would give the Freshman a chance come spring and see how they hold up and when the portal opens again pick one up.
