I absolutely HATED when we hired Taylor Stubblefield.
he's been AWOL since November
We've lost 4 Defensive Coaches all together including the Coordinator.
DC - Guidry
LB - Nicholson
DT - Big Joe
CB - Chevis
The replacements and staff so far
DC - Hetherman
DL - Taylor
S/CB - Etheridge
So, we should expect two more guys? Many are saying that Etheridge is more of a Safety coach.
Another CB only coach would be ideal as I don't think we need two coaches at the DL. Not a ton of differences between DE/DT in regards to responsibilities. What other position on defense would we be bringing in another coach? I'm hoping LB for recruiting. That's supposedly not one of Hetherman's strong suits.

He was LB coach under Schiano at Rutgers. Did he recruit poorly there? If he takes on a position coaching role, I thought it would be LB coach.
I'd personally rather not have 2 DB coaches or 2 DL coaches. I'd rather he appoint a LB coach and only worry about the D all up, then we free up the additional position coach spot for STs.
To my knowledge Etheridge is coaching corners. Should know about safety coach soon. Last I heard it was a coach who was a DC before

Nice. I thought I had read from numerous people that Etheridge was more of a Safety coach. Regardless I really like the hire and my friend who is an Auburn fan said he was a really good coach and they hated to see him leave.

Our DBs were so bad last year...anything less than two new coaches at the position is uncivilized.
Considering our lack of efficiency at recruiting the position...probably need to be ace recruiters and evaluators too.
Jason Taylor can coach the DL. He's just the conduit from Hetherman. Having two with our defensive front (some schemes a DL Coach and "outside linebacker coach" make a lot of sense...not us though).

They looked similar to our DBs when we played them.

Just noticed the Ravens' cut lose their long-time DB coach (Chris Hewitt) who worked for Schiano at Rutgers.
