These MAC type programs actually have given us a pretty good read in the past.

We've really struggled in these through the years and it extrapolated in conference play. Would like to see a complete beatdown here.

Gotta take the points here. This is the same conference Bowling Green and Northern Illinois play in. 5 touchdowns is ridiculous against any team with a pulse.

Same with usf taking bama to middle of the fourth. They’ll have our attention with a night game on espn in Tampa
You can bet the USF game got switched to a night kickoff feature because of the problems they gave Bama in Tuscaloosa. ESPN is expecting a tough home stand by the Bulls at Raymond James Stadium.

Mario better have those young men ready to go!

this game wont be close....stop one guy and its over for them
backups fest again like famu

Last time Miami beat one of these G5 teams by more than 36 points was Louisiana Tech in '04 so covering that spread will definitely feel like we're turning the corner.

More important than covering (which I think the Canes will), we need to see:
1. No penalties
2. No dropped passes
3. Execute blocks
4. No missed tackles
5. No missed assignments on defense
6. No injuries
7. More young players get in the game and everyone plays hard and with intensity

Do 1-7, then everything else will take care of itself. The Canes will win big, and more importantly , the Canes will actually improve and get deeper and better

I'm going to be in NYC for the game ... are there any NYC watch party bars on the upper west side?

They have a decent QB and a veteran OLine. Canes 45-17

They won the MAC in 2020 and then have gone 6-7, 5-7, and 4-8 the last 3 years. This game should not and will not be close.
They struggled with FCS Missouri St (already coming off a loss to Montana themselves) and don't have the caliber of athletes to hang. Of course Mario will talk them up like they're the '85 Bears cause that's what you do with non-conference cupcakes to keep your team focused. If you only went by the quotes you'd think FAMU was an FBS playoff team.

There's zero chance their defense slows us down and even less of a chance their OL holds up against our defensive front. We could play ugly and have this think be like a 38-13 slopfest I suppose.
