Stop scheduling Bethune or FAMU!!! Throw in Charleston Southern, Central Connecticut State, n Savanah state. It's all trash. Idc about the whole program needing money ****. Go somewhere else w that garbage
Hate to say it..but if your going to schedule an HBCU and not bring the band..then I agree with this take. Especially as we hopefully become more dominant. Gotta bring the band to give people a reason to want to come out and be entertained outside of the a$$ whooping we give them. Folks start heading toward the exits at beginning of the 4th quarter. Smh.

Those kids put in a lot of hours of hard work - and it shows. They perform.

Maybe the next time a thought pops into your head - don't.

Just -

Don't.
What are we talking about here? An elementary school field day where everyone gets a participation ribbon?

Idc how hard they work it's honestly a waste on all fronts. Having kids get their **** pushed in so that a school can get paid and the funds get mismanaged.

As a FAMU alum..there is really zero reason for a “casual fan” to come to this game if the band isn’t there. The base will always show up. But not many people going out of there way to witness a game that will be 42-0 halftime. I know because I got 8 grandkids going and as soon as they heard the band wasn’t performing they all of a sudden might have plans that night, lol. The Marching 100 is the draw after the game gets to be a blowout. But to each his own.
I was just explaining this to somebody, famu game is a easy game for me to bring youngins and fill seats.. keep them entertained til early third at least.. I can bring a whole clan to that game and everyone enjoy.. when they find out no band it's probably gonna be back to same crew who attend regardless of fsu or mtsu

Tradition, for one.

I know - you're so wrapped up in yourself - another no-fun, no personality, wobbly codded zipper personality always on edge - easily offended by anything you may nor understand or agree with.

Take a knee. If you don't like the bands - during halftime - go take a dump - lighten your load - you'll feel better - and not being quite so full of ****, it may help clear your mind.

In lots of other sports - folks climb into a ring they know they're there to lose - but they need the money.

It's a choice. It's a practice to obtain funding beyond their normal means of obtaining it.

I don't give a tinkers dam if they spend it on additional scholarships or new percussion instruments.

It's their business. Not mine.

And not yours.

Go push some more toddlers off their tricycles. And if you get the chance - and come across some extra money yourself - I'd suggest purchasing a minimum amount of personality -

It will at least give you something to start with.

No band?! Isn't that the entire reason we pay them to come play us, so we can watch their band?

All top programs should schedule at least one HBCU. They need the money to keep their programs afloat.
