Have you seen Florida A&M’s knockoff of Miami’s turnover chain? The “Touchdown Chain” was created in 2021 by FAMU.

The latest sideline accessory is a clear reference to Miami’s turnover chain but is brought out whenever FAMU scores a touchdown. FAMU’s version was displayed three times in Week 1 when the Rattlers beat the Norfolk State Spartans.

This might be a unique game. However Their band will not be making the trip to Hard Rock to created that amazing atmosphere across the stadium. But if they score, they’ll bring out their Touchdown Chain, but don’t expect much from them scoring.

Easy fix

Don’t let them score once

Using a facepalm emoji is almost as embarrassing as getting defensive about a band
All I asked is what band was better and I’ve yet to get an answer. I didn’t come at dude wrong about about it. I don’t know what type of response you’re looking to get outta me with the childish antics

It’s all good. I’m just messing around. Every year we all give FAMU tons of love for their incredible band

Just busting balls after a few of the best days to be a Cane fan in recent memory I never mean anything genuinely personal (well maybe a couple people)

I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion. The Marching 100 is the standard, legendary and far from trash. What bands do you think are better?
Certainly not the Miami Band of the Hour. They're hot garbage.

I'm sure its awful, but nowhere near as awful as the Turnover Purse by FSU

Lmao anybody that is still doing doing any chain rip offs is soft soft as *****! That whole mantra should have been closed after FSU came out with Chanel purse/ bags!

It’s the definition of cultural appropriation and obviously the U started it first and made it impactful in college football for a couple years. Until Mario knew that it was excessive, self indulgent, and dangerous for team growth.
Lets be real, I don't think FSU should EVER stop doing the purse/bag thing. Its about as a great look for them as we could possibly ask for.

Here come the band dorks to the rescue
As a FAMU alum..there is really zero reason for a “casual fan” to come to this game if the band isn’t there. The base will always show up. But not many people going out of there way to witness a game that will be 42-0 halftime. I know because I got 8 grandkids going and as soon as they heard the band wasn’t performing they all of a sudden might have plans that night, lol. The Marching 100 is the draw after the game gets to be a blowout. But to each his own.

Those kids put in a lot of hours of hard work - and it shows. They perform.

Maybe the next time a thought pops into your head - don't.

Just -

Don't.
