The Miami Central pipeline is still going strong. The Canes went back to its top feeder program to land the commitment of LB Ezekiel Marcelin.
Marcelin, like recent Miami commit Amari Wallace, is a four-year starter for the Rockets who has flashed high-end instincts since his freshman year. He is also the team captain and showed much improved coverage ability during Central’s spring practices.
Marcelin, who played with Coach Duasso and @Stevo365's RAW Miami program, chose the Canes over Stanford, Penn State and Pittsburgh. He is Miami's 11th commitment in the class, joining his Central/RAW teammate DB Amari Wallace, QB Luke Nickel, RB Girard Pringle, TE Brock Schott, TE Luka Gilbert, OT Jaden Wilkerson, OT Demetrius Campbell, OG TK Muex, LB Elijah Melendez and CB Tim Merritt. Marcelin is the 7th Floridian in the class.
