I think this is a charity pick up. Local guy from a school that has treated UM well. If Mario is truly an height weight speed guy then this commitment does fit the bill exactly. But welcome to the U....
Charity? Sometimes you just gotta take kids who are ballers and say ***** the measurables. Not every kid is going to come into college looking like Jeff Luc. Let the nfl scouts lust over size

I dont know about taller but he maybe a yappped out over 205 for sure i wouldnt want him over 220. But if he can come in 205-210 thats typical um lb range . Dude is swole as **** though putting in work.
I can't remember where I read it or heard it, but there was a report that during spring evals he was 1-2" taller.

Hey CIS
Find some faults to complain about. I’m sure some of you will find something wrong with her.
The same place that thought Nesta was gonna dominate has people who have a problem with linebacker who plenty of schools want.

All I know is I wanna get arrested. Maybe we can agree that this is 5 star talent!

Welcome to the U Zeek!!

It’s crazy how hot Colombian girl officers are. They be wearing makeup and ****. I was in Medellin last week and was thinking dam she could take me down anytime.

LOL, we’re not looking for a “typical” UM LB, we’re looking to do things the right way, and FFS, that doesn’t include a 205 pound LB.
That should be the minimum weight of our safety. This kid has followed instructions and worked his *** off to put on size for a reason and at 218 he’s getting close to where he needs to be! Kudos to the young fella!

You “don’t want him to come in over 220”, SMFH, that asinine south Florida mentality has to change if we’re ever going to compete!

I'm not "comparing anyone".

I'm citing an EXAMPLE of when "height/weight" was not nearly the end-all/be-all of recruiting evaluations.

If we had CIS in 1993, some of these moron porsters would have **** on Ray Lewis as a "reach", both athletically and academically. That's a fact.
This is probably true.

Charity?! We accept an early commitment from a HS LB…. and we have people in here talking charity and Corey Flagg 2.0. Apparently the staff seen something in this young man’s game that warranted the green light. This defensive staff coached Flagg. You don’t think they knew his physical limitations? You really think that they would actually go out and repeat the mistake of the previous staff, and take his commitment early?! TF?! Not saying that Guidry and crew are infallible, but cmon man. Give em a lil credit. They wouldn’t make the same mistake this soon. ****, have a lil faith, lol.

Not only that. He said in the interview that D Nic and Cristobal offered him as a freshman. D Nic was still at Louisville when he offered.

As a freshman he had offers from Kentucky, Vols, Tamu, Michigan, Auburn, and us.

Again, we never know who’s gonna pan out.
But dudes on here acting like we flipped some dude from Stetson or some sht.
