So this means we have 1 hire left. I'm guessing it is another DB guy to pair with Etheridge with Hetherman taking LBs.

OC/QB - Dawson
OL - Mirabal
RB - Merritt
WR - Beard
TE - Woodiel

DC - Hetherman
DE - Taylor
DT - Lewis
DB - Etheridge
There’s no limit on # of coaches anymore, right?

So Hetherman didn’t bring any of his own guys? I guess Mario will never learn
Mario will learn when he starts evaluating talent and getting the 3, 4 n 5 starts talent that pans out.

Very nice! Glad the search for DL coach is finally over.
This should be added to the Colorado tears page... if there is one.

All we hear is that Miami is gonna go out and get the best coaches available. Then we end up with more More Miami Bros

Best believe this is Mario’s hire and not the DCs

This "Miami Bros" took over what was a mediocre CU DLine (in 2023) and made it better this past season. This said "Bro" not only was a star at UM, but was a solid NFL player and even coached a little at that level under Pete Carroll.
Of course this was a "Mario hire" insofar as the connection is concerned.
Good for Mario and Damione and even better for Hetherman having a HC providing him his rolodex, potentially expanding his coaching tree, especially since his DL coach at UofMinnesota recently bolted to the NFL.
One more thing, Damione has ties to Texas and that won't hurt.
Not sure this "Miami Bro" stuff applies to this hire.

This assumes Mario prevented Hetherman from bringing his own people. It maybe that Mario gave him an opportunity to bring his people but they chose to stay in Minnesota, or go elsewhere.
My assumption is that Mario and Hetherman interviewed the new hires after watching a lot of film on their schemes. But this too is an assumption. If I’m wrong, then your comment about Mario never learning is spot on.

Which is, of course, what happened.

Your bringing up CU's Dline while leaving the fact that Sanders portal A LOT of players year to year, so maybe they had better players the year Lewis arrived
