Any of those cbs we got , that could moved to safety ?

Without looking this story up I assumed Wisconsin entered his name in the portal but that's not the case. What a crazy story

Anyways Welcome to the U!!! Xavier Lucas and Jeremiah Smith were two guys we almost flipped on signing day back in 2024 and now we got Lucas back home

Great job revamping the secondary. @DMoney just top of your head how would you line it up in the secondary vs notre dame as of today? Who are the starters.
Kinda what I was asking prior to reading. Any chance some of those big *** cbs get moved to saftey to get the players on the field .

So, just to clarify for myself and anyone else who is wrapping their brain around this whole situation,

- IF the revenue sharing proposal passes, Wisconsin technically owns Lucas's NIL rights for two years since he signed a contract NOW, when there wasn't any actual legal reason they could have him do so...

- Until that happens, Miami can have him participate in NIL with their collective.

- It would seem that there could be further legal wrangling down the road should Congress finally pass the revenue sharing agreement.

- I know the contract he signed was given to all BIG10 schools to use. Is it legal? Or would that be the main point of any future litigation?

Wasn't the portal always just a matter of convenience? If you want to leave a school, they can't handcuff you to a desk
Legally it seems that way but I mean the world of college football has operated as if it were an absolute window and that’s been shattered

How does this affect our portal ranking?

I thought the universities and the collectives were separate entities. If he signed a contract with the collective, I don’t see how the university can claim he harmed them. The collective may have a legal avenue but not the university.

Is Brown going to hit the portal in the spring, or will he be moved to a different spot?
