key question - is Colbert(son) in town?

Yes. Hes with me now at dinner. Rachels wpb

How’s Brian doing in the weight room?

Nice! I hope you boys had the steak Brooklyn? Rachel’s got the best steak in all of west palm minus okeechobee steak house.

Rachel's and OSH, blast from the past. It's been some years, but I never cared for OSH and it wouldn't have made my top 5 in Palm Beach County.

Rachel's, well, I wasn't going there for a steak when I went.

The Raindancer my last time down there was still the king of steak IMHO. Pretty much a timeless place that never needed to change a thing and was consistent as could be with prime cuts of beef cooked to perfection. The South African lobster is a just have as well.

Hs staffs and schools catch feelings when they think a kid deserves an offer and doesn’t get one. We all know this. It’s personal to them. What I don’t get is why does this only seem to only bite us? I never hear this type of **** with bama, uf, uga, LSU, Ohio st. Etc. Saban isn’t offering every one of your kids. Meanwhile, cooper, Jackson, Ridley etc all wind up there.

Rivals front page top story. Surtain and info about Clemson, bama, and LSU. No miami. Either they are way off or our guys are. Will be nice to find out the truth sd.

If said kid has offers from UGA, Clemson, UF, FSU, etc...

Then it might be a legitimate gripe. Again, that's not happening now but it happened a lot under Golden. We ignored kids with offers like that in favor of kids with offers from Akron.

Golden made a lot of mistakes, that's why isn't here...But name 3 other kids (Quincy Wilson is obv one of them) that could have committed to GA, CU, UF, FSU that UM didn't offer. I'll wait.

@Macho..Ill give you McKenzie..we should have offered. Period. He was Roscoe Parrish 2.0 and for Golden and his staff not to see that is crazy especially since Roscoe more then held his own around here at that size.

But your boy Dowels has been pretty much a bust at Syracuse too. Lets not make it seem like he has been ballin'. I know he had injuries but all things equal..we cant put him on the "miss" list.

That said, heard rumors he is looking to grad transfer and is looking at UM..any truth to this?

People love to use hindsight.

COMING OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL...

Who was better, Ryan Mayes or Juwan Dowels?

Ok then.

Nobody knew that he was gonna be hampered by injuries. He was Syracuse's best CB before he got hurt.

Agree. Dowels was better out of HS. But maybe its just the Accountant in me but with the information I have on hand now..he wasnt a miss.

Bro you have been marching with the Juwon Dowels flag for years now..LOL...let it go man. Its over. That staff is gone now. New staff.

He did more than the guy who was offered ahead of him. That makes him a miss.

That's like saying we shouldn't have offered Malik Young since he only gave us a short time. **** happens. You can't predict injuries.

You can't simply use hindsight to prove your point. You're gonna sit here and justify NOT offering the Broward County Defensive Player of the Year? LOL

****, I can reference Ryan Mayes or I can reference Nigel Bethel as well. He got the offer over Dowels too. Dowels was better than both of them coming out of high school and even with an injury plagued career was more productive than them in college.

And let's not act like Dowels was the only kid we did this to. Golden was notorious for his "evaluations".

So still no news and everything silent. Perfect.

Nacho's source was being fed bull****. The recruits read this board, why in the **** would they tell that AH coach anything that holds value when it was plastered on CIS hours later. Everything was close to the vest through the whole process. IF they told that coach anything they were trolling.

If we had offered Quincy at CB we had a lot less problems, amazing the domino effect that had

Exactly. Fat Al still haunting us from the grave (aka Detroit).

I don't want to hear any update from any 'sources'.

All that matters is everyone shows up tomorrow and even that is just a step.

All that is really important is Feb 7 at 10:00 AM.

Still waiting for any semblance of news or update that is supposed to make us believe we are in this outside of some posters on a message board saying we are...

What news have you gotten that we're not in this besides posters and SEC site writers?

Well you aren't going to like this but I figure someone is going to ask for the info.

Cane Sport just put out an update after talking to two separate sources regarding the American Heritage kids.

Silvera: 100% Cane per both sources.

Chatfield: Between Miami and UF and both sources claim that he's going to pick Florida.

Surtain: One source says LSU is the favorite while the other said Bama but both said they doubt Miami even has a chance.

Campbell: One source said that it's Georgia, Bama and Miami in that order and the other source said 100% chance he ISN'T going to Miami

They asked one of the sources why Miami is having trouble with American Heritage kids and the source mentioned that AH wasn't happy with Miami offering Berrios over McKenzie back in 2014 or when they didn't offer Michel's brother. Said that Miami offers the elite guys at the school but doesn't extend offers to the plan B guys but extend offers to questionable players at other locations.

------------------------------------------------------------

Reading the last part seems pretty dumb considering it was a different coaching staff that made those choices. Either way, that's the update from Canesport this morning so do with that what you will.

The negs on this post is why the system is dumb as ****.

Dude posts information, accurate or not, its more on subject than 90% of the rest of the crap in pretty much every thread.

Again, accurate or not, why would people neg something and possibly make someone not pass something along in the future? I don't care about a neg or up vote, but some might. **** is dumb as ****.

If it isn't good news, people neg or slam the poster to oblivion. It's like you only want good news, accurate or not and to be determined at a later date.

So you’ve ignored every update from Ivins and UGA writers?

Those schools aren't the only measuring sticks, I just mentioned them off the top of my head. We've passed on local kids that offers from teams like South Carolina who went on to college and produced. (or other top-25 teams) Golden passed on them for kids that had offers from Akron, Duke, and teams like that.

Dowels had offers from Clemson, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.
Skai Moore went to South Carolina and balled. No offer from Golden.
When we were at a shortage for DB's, there were South FLA kids all over the country starting at DB who we passed on.
****, I would've taken Dedrick Nichols over some of the scrubs Golden signed.

Ivins is dead silent on ITU...he doesn’t even have an article or a VIP note up. He probably can’t find anything lol.

It's all good, I don't really give a crap about getting up voted or down voted. I come here to find info on recruiting and sometimes pass along what I read on a paid site, nothing more.
