Just got the Alabama offer... MF....
Markevious Brown is our only hope lolLol Don’t worry though Malik Curtis is fast guys.
We offered the day before he released a top 5. Just make sure you blame the right guys and not just pile on Rumph for no reason. There will be plenty of time to blame Rumph don't worry.View attachment 120470
Says Ole Miss and Tennessee are recruiting him the hardest right now. He's planning on picking between the two.
As you can see another outstanding CB recruiting job
The staff needs to replace Curtis with Daniel Edwards or Darius Macghee, guys who are as fast or faster than Curtis and play CB position a lot more.
So he does everything but play corner well. That’s great, glad we recruited him to do the one thing he needs work at.Curtis is an elite weapon on special teams. We’ve all seen how important that phase of the game is the past few years. Any production we get out of him at corner is a bonus. We actually have solid young depth at corner so he doesn’t need to play for 3-4 years. keep Curtis as an elite specialist develop him and hopefully we’ll find one long outside guy to pair with him.
Yeah, let's just recruit a guy because he can play special teams. That logic is stupid, you recruit the position first and then hope he can participate on special teams. Not only that, but both of the guys I mentioned play special teams as well and are good at it.Curtis is an elite weapon on special teams. Cj Henderson barely even played corner back in high school. Unfortunately another dude that ain’t comingSo he does everything but play corner well. That’s great, glad we recruited him to do the one thing he needs work at.
Curtis is not elite....lolCurtis is an elite weapon on special teams. We’ve all seen how important that phase of the game is the past few years. Any production we get out of him at corner is a bonus. I hope you're not comparing Curtis to Hendo...lol seriously, he's a decent prospect but some of these comparisons are getting outta hand....Cj Henderson barely even played corner back in high school. Unfortunately another dude that ain’t coming
Exactly.....I just can't see Curtis ever seeing the field at Miami....The staff needs to replace Curtis with Daniel Edwards or Darius Macghee, guys who are as fast or faster than Curtis and play CB position a lot more.
No. But saying a dude can’t be a corner cause he hasn’t played much at the position isn’t true.I hope you're not comparing Curtis to Hendo...lol seriously, he's a decent prospect but some of these comparisons are getting outta hand....
I agree, but the staff is obviously recruiting him in order to add some speed to the secondary, which is dumb because like I said before there are guys who are as fast or faster and primary play CB. The first thing you should look at is can he play the position well then the athletic traits, we should be recruiting athletes regardless at the position, but wouldn't it be good to get a prospect who shows good athlecticism and technique at a position.No. But saying a dude can’t be a corner cause he hasn’t played much at the position isn’t true.

He is not elite, so stop it. I keep saying this again and again but it seems you dont want to read it, there are guys who are faster, more physical, play the CB position, and are just as good return mans...He is by no means an elite kid. Who the ***** recruit people just be a return man, you sound dumb. He is also not a 4.4 kid, your just making **** up. Stop making **** up to justify this take, it is a bad take considering that there are other prospects who can be just as good as a return man and a better CB. With that being said he has a senior year left, if he shows that he can play CB then I'm all for the take. This guy isn’t playing special teams he’s an elite weapon on special teams. He isn’t a gunner making tackles. I don’t understand what you guys are missing here. There are levels to everything and this kid is a threat to score every time he returns the ball. Having a return man that scares opposing teams is huge!! With our defense adding an elite punt returner can win games. Using 1 scholarship on the best punt/kick returner in the state every 3-4 years. I don’t see the problem.
Read his quotes when he committed. “They said defense, but they said they going to try and get me the ball with punt returns and kick returns," Curtis said when asked about his future position.
He isn’t being recruited to be the number 1 corner on defense. He’s a 4.4 kid with a special talent. We’ll see what he develops into as far as position but this kids film is awesome! I need y’all to keep this same energy about this kid when he’s returning punts for touchdowns on Saturday’s. “But he can’t play corner...” who gives af! We’re not dropping Curtis. We’ll find a 4 star corner in this class. Rumph has done it every year stop whining like little girls about who we don’t land and appreciate the guys we have landed after going 6-7.
