He's from Louisville, KY, not from Broward or any So Fla backyard that we should have known about. Following your logic, we dropped the ball on every 5* national recruit since Aldarius Johnson.

Louisville is pretty close to the Purdue campus. If Purdue had a natural recruiting area, I'm sure it would include Kentucky. The only other competition would be Louisville, Kentucky or Cincinnati.

With national recruits, unless they show early on they have an interest in you, they're tough to pursue even if you like them. You have to pick your shots, there's not enough time and resources to chase them all.

apparently is has something to do with Brohm and his ties to the Louisville area. Thought his dad coached Moore in HS.

Moore is from Louisville and the Brohm Family has deep ties in Louisville. Brohm’s dad is HS coaching legend, one of the brothers is now coaching HS in Louisville and the Moore’s 7 on 7 coach was a teammate of Brohm at Louisville.
