With all this conjured up negative crap. If you worked with me you would be fired. If you played on my team I would slap you in the face. If you were my kid I would kick you in the ***.
Get it together, the end is not here. You make it 10x worse ,because you say it is. I now put teddy b on the fans, because he said it. Looks like 2 other recruits read these boards(Powell, Nigel).

It's amazing how much venom and incredible negativity some fans on here can have about the team/school/players they call themselves fans of. And then they get p!ssed or wonder why they get labeled as such bad fans.....not just attendance, but how they treat their own. It's not all fans but enough. It's an f'n joke! Stand up for your team or gtfo.

and we have less then a month left til signing day...we are suppose to convince a
talented kid that this is the place to be because we have sunny beaches? and small class rooms

oUr stadiums suck, facilities are less then stellar, and you have a coach that just got his A$$ handed to him by his alma mater
and now he is back to save the day...oh news flash his best friend runs a defense that gave up a million yards this year

kids are leaving our recruiting base because they realize they can throw up the 305 on tv?
 
Give us a team worth standing up for, any one with a brain in their head can see that this program is headed in the wrong direction, why should we sit and accept mediocrity?

So true. Negativity breeds negativity. Stay positive and support those who are Canes. Bad attitudes and complaining help no-one. If you're a real fan you will support and encourage our team, not publicly hate on them and put them down. Some of your are a straight embarrassment to The U.
 
I don't understand this mentality. We are all die hard fans of the program, and being exactly that, we want what's best for the team.

So we have two options, voice our displeasure with the fraud that is Al Golden, or do what you want, which is to accept a painfully mediocre team that could and should be much better, and what? Pat them on the back and say good effort when we lose every meaningful game?

Yep. Mods mention how many recruits, parents , coaches read these boards yet they (mods included)dive right in. Reality we had a bad game and finished 9-4 no more no less. Ughhhhhh reality, that is tied with most wins in 10 yrs. does the d need a lot of work yessssss , but let the man get his players. If he leaves, he leaves , but does not look like it.
Suck it up and stop being so scared. AndKing every recruit an family scared.

Tell your boys on the coaching staff to stop putting a mediocre product on the field. We had 18 returning starters and we regress? Why shouldn't fans come on the boards and express themselves? Easiest schedule in Canes history and we should be ok with this coaching staff? This is the reason for forums, correct? Child please!

That is the dumbest comment. No one is accepting mediocrity. Even the biggest Golden supporters agree that the defense has been unacceptable, but that doesn't mean we need to burn the whole ******* place down.

If Golden is losing recruits to message boards, then he isn't a quarter of the recruiter we thought he was.

Talk of a fair weather fan. As much as i might not like some things right now, specifically the defense, this program is not headed in the wrong direction. Coker and Shannon ran this program into the f'n ground. Everyone knew it would take a few years to turn this thing around. Let's keep it going. Golden is here, deal with it. There were no other coaches out there anyway. The Butch era is LONG gone. Oh, and if he was here, he would be poaching 3 star kids from Louisiana like Ed Reed that many on here would ***** about b/c he wasn't a 4 star So Florida kid. Look at Butch's roster when Coker won the NC, half the starters were not from So Fla. Petrino? He wasn't coming here either. Chud? Doesn't fit. He's an NFL guy and probably would have left fairly quickly. Golden had a good class. I wanted to see how it panned out. Things are shaky right now and i'm as worried as the rest, but let it play out.
 
You whine and cry and complain about how bad goldens 9 wins and middle of the road d are. Then complain why a recruit, who read what you wrote , doesn't want to be here. Forrest trees

What negative recruiting?!?! What negative recruiting is he possibly facing from FSU & UF this year. NONE. Yes it hurt last year, but that was last year, and his class is falling apart, and again, if you lose recruits to a *** little message board, then your message isn't going through of what you envision for that player and the team in the next four years. Lmao at message boards, go read the UF message boards and tell me why they are going to finish with a better ranked class than ours.

All these excuses for Golden has got me wondering if you are Golden fans or family or U fans.
