Yall know we gonna skate now right?

Why does everyone think we get 3 bowls. No way we get more than USC. So the NCAA just wants to use the heavy hand hand? Penn state gets 4 and we think 3, no way IMO.

We self imposed for two bowls, but doesn't it count for something that we self imposed a "potential" ACC championship game?
 
Missing out on the ACCCG is HUGE, and far more important than sacrificing only a bottom tier bowl. I would think the NCAA would have to take that into account.

+1 if the goal of the players is just to make the ****** mieniky(sp) car bowl then we need new kids with that BCS or bust want in them

Pretty sad when we feel sad about missing 3rd tier bowls,..

If they say time served then they look weak cause they technically didn't do anything. We did it. So they give us a 3rd to mak an example out of us. we would be the "perfect" program to make an example out of.

I would imagine if Shalala was told or in some way felt there was a possibility we were getting a 3rd bowl ban she would not have declined this year and would be willing to fight it out in court.We have suspended the guilty players,taken 2 bans and are on our own reducing ships.Have cooperated fully with the ncaa,I just can't see the ncaa saying ***** that I'm still shocking you with more.If they were to do so no school investigated in the future would cooperate with them in the least.
 
if the ncaa crushes us after suspending players, paying back the money they received in lap dances, paying the bankruptcy court fee, and 3 post season games in 2 years they will be setting a scary precedent. No other program has cooperated as much as we have and sacrificed as much as we have. OSU said Eff you and played their guys in the bowl when the head coach had direct knowledge of them breaking the rules and got hit. USC delayed the investigation with Bush for years and years and they got hit hard.

If the NCAA comes down on us hard theyre telling every other school that self penalizing is absolutely worthless and so is cooperation because we are going to slam you regardless.

Also this new letter is a bad look for the ncaa

Unfortunately I think that message has been sent, and they just spin it with "it could have been much worse." Then, fear kicks in and every school believes it. I'm basing that on how they seem to be treating us, with the ridiculous letters and threats they apparently continue to make.

Thank Shalala for all this. We get hammered. It will be unprecedented. I'd say two more years of bowl bans, but with the scholly reductions, it won't matter.

Agreed. The NCAA can essentially do whatever it wants. I'm not counting on them taking it easy on us because we cooperated. It would not surprise me at all if they did what you are describing so they could have their cake and eat it too.

You have the right idea. I can just imagine the NCAA relentlessly investigating dozens and dozens of names for nearly two years, backed by public opinion, and then being content to stand aside and offer very little penance of their own, other than a handful of scholarships.

Self imposed, okay that will be fine. What's next on our plate? A Division II girls soccer potential violation? Sounds great. When do we start? I'm tired of this Miami stuff. Those writers are saying such mean things about us, that we had no right to demand cooperation. My feelings are hurt and I can sense I'm not alone. It's not worth it anymore.

We're going to get blasted, in very arrogant high profile fashion.

No the Ncaa can not do whatever it wants. There has been successful pushback in the courts in the USC case and the NCAA needs to be very careful here. I expect alot of what Shapiro alleges either cant be proven or are outright lies. We wont skate but I think it will be OK
