Xavier Lucas wants to be in the portal but Luke Fickell pays to watch men ramrod his wife

That was a normal reply by you so how would I know it was sarcasm??

Are you ******* kidding right now? I made it clear that because Wisconsin was "not commenting" (as they are doing in the Lucas case) that I was free to substitute my own narrative (which they are doing in the Lucas case).

And I made several prior posts that said (sarcastically) that the truth was not important, and that we should just spread anti-Wisconsin sentiment, regardless.

This is a Xavier Lucas thread. We are criticizing Wisconsin. What's next, are you going to go onto Gator Tears and F$U Tears and start getting literal over all the jokes we make there too?

Seriously, get ahold of yourself. Why does everyone else get the joke besides you (and cway, who is humorless)? Have you SEEN the thread title (as amended)?

For the record, 14 people got the joke on this one:

UW fans resorting to the “trust me bro” defense

1. "Trust me". I do not.
2. "There is precendent to this". OK, please cite the precedent.
3. "We wouldn't do this for no reason". I don't care what your reason is, the NCAA rules don't provide a "reason" or "excuse" or "exception" the the 48 hour submission rule.
4. "He's the only one who had issues transferring". Again, I do not trust you, because Wisconsin has not cited any issues publicly.
5. "He is liable for what ever behind the scenes happened clearly". In addition to being a horribly-constructed sentence, again, there has been no "behind the scenes" explanation. Clearly.
6. "He was the one who wasn't responding he ghosted the staff when they tried dealing with it". SO WHAT? Wisconsin fans have invented some unspoken rules of propriety where a player who has decided to transfer must have ongoing conversations with his former coaches. WHO CARES? "Tried dealing with it"? If it was not clear above, nobody knows the double-secret probation issues that Wisconsin is trying to cite. This is like those dip****s who argue "oh, the coach left and didn't talk to the team about it". Yeah, because that is a "damned if you do/damned if you don't" situation. Just read the recent article on how Lane Kiffin left Tennessee and was getting ripped apart by his players, in-person, because he tried to speak with them personally.

The whole situation is bull****. Wisconsin fans can cite NO REASON for Wisconsin not doing WHAT THEY ARE REQUIRED TO DO in Portal application situation.

This is the part I love. Any chance he ghosted your coaches because he had decided he wanted to transfer and didn't want to deal with Fickell begging him to stay. Kid filled out the very simple hard to mess up form he needed to in order to be entered in the portal and he submitted it. UW then had 48 hours to enter him the portal which they didn't. Once submitted there is no reason for him to return the calls of the UW football staff. If the collective has some kind of issue with Lucas then it is on them to deal with it not the UW staff because again the 2 are separate and nothing between Lucas and the collective allows for UW to not enter him in the portal.
