x makes it official

Seems like a great kid, worked his butt off to become one of our greats. Love those stories.

Unpopular take…he won’t do much if anything in the nfl. But that take is one I’m hoping I’m proved wrong on. It won’t be for lack of effort.
I think he can carve out a role, dude just knows how to get open. Has to be right situation tho.

This kid is the eternal underdog. Evey place he’s played. But he’s also the little train that could. Never stops, works harder than everyone else. You can doubt him, but it’s at your peril. You don’t become the all time Canes receiver by being a quitter or slacker. Those are traits that are foreign to his work ethic. Look forward to watching him prove the doubters wrong at the next level🙌🏽

Idk. The receiver position has changed so much

I see a lot of basic *** WRs playing on Sundays these days

He fills a nice niche I think he will stick around a long time

The nfl to me is almost unwatchable. Like someone else said a few years ago X could have carved out a major role. But I hope he at least makes it to that second contract and sets himself up for the long haul.
I agree with you on the NFL being unwatchable. I forgot to cancel my NFL Sunday ticket from 2023 and it automatically renewed for 2024. It takes three to four games before the starters get in sync since they don't play in the pre-season.

And I must admit I am a Dolphin fan so I have to see Tua throw a pass behind the line seven out of ten throws which takes five minutes to get to the receiver. But I think X will get to a second contract.

it all comes down to situation and personnel ... he latches on with a good qb, he's set
I think like @HurricanePhilly was saying it won’t be for lack of effort

Honestly when I look around the NFL that part probably means as much as anything nowadays

So many talented useless lazy ***** in the league another reason I think Cam will do really well too

Are you watching the game?
Sure, from London. So I can see the 2025 pieces we have, and because I’m sick in the head as a fan.

But if any of you think anyone relevant in CFB remotely cares that Miami won the pop tarts bowl against Iowa state, you’re delusional. No one will remember this 3 years from now, because it’s not an important game and it’s not for any sort of playoff.

It doesn’t matter.

Yeah my post wasn’t to bash X. We all love the undersized “Rocky” stories.

It’s like true big men in the NBA. I miss watching Shaq physically man handle others or Dream shaking guys.

NFL feels like the undersized slightly slower WR are a dying breed. But X does have that short area quickness. A veteran smart qb would prob love him on 3rd and 6 situations

WHY DO OUR FANS HATE OUR PLAYERS

(Jk I knew what you meant and can definitely see it)

Declare? that mean hes not playing today?

I would never count this kid out in NFL. I'd never count him out on anything.

#7 is gonna be a first down machine in the league. He'll be the "go to" receiver when the team needs to move the sticks.

fair ... but i felt as canes we understood that this is a step in getting back to where we want to be ... the name of the game don't matter, at the end of the day we haven't won a bowl game in seven plus years ... it gives us momentum heading into spring recruiting ...

they dont care if we win but want us to lose. We still havent heard a peep about how Tennessee was not even on the bubble of the playoffs after the OSU beat down.
