X is quickly approaching..

I just don’t see how GM’s could let this kid fall past the 1st round - but by all accounts they will. Maybe because he’s a slot WR? Height? Not enough for me.

His character is umatched, he puts the team on his back every single week, has a massive catch radius and catches **** near every ball - and well - his numbers speak for themselves. He’s one of the best receivers in Miami history and we’ve had less go in the first round. It’s mind boggling.

He will be a 3rd or 4th round pick and absolutely kill it in the league. Praying the rams get him tbh

The 4th down where he & Cam saw it was Man D, his Welker-Amendola flawless route and finishing the YAC for the first down.

****..

So ******* huge.
And they both gave credit to Dawson for that play..... which our fan base is ignoring for some reason. Dawson actually called a good game. Drops and a couple of bad decisions by Ward is what made this game tough.

Santana - 5’10” - 1st round - 16th overall:

So solid and consistent, glue hands too.
Kid is spectacular. He shed the “solid” label eons ago. Dude is a matchup nightmare. They tried triple teaming him on the huge 4th & 10 on the next to last drive, and he still caught it and got 13 yards.

Then he runs the perfect post route up the middle on the last drive and catches them napping, and Cam hits him with a beautiful pass for that 77-yarder that will go down in Canes lore.

One of you super cane historians stop me from calling the kid a top5 cane WR all time…Somebody stop me I’ll listen if im mistaken, remember he probably will break a few records by the end of the year too
Career-wise at UM, he’s been unbelievable. I was talking with my buddy about this a week ago. He’s got to be considered one of the all-time UM greats with what he’s done. He should have some major all-time leader records at UM by season’s end.

Top 5 all time Cane for me.

Seriously how the **** did he make this play???

This 4th down play was a huge part in us winning this game.

It’s a one in a million catch but that is also what concerns me about this team. If he doesn’t catch that on 4th down we probably lose the game. Cannot be playing with fire like that against teams that we have a large talent advantage over. Sure you might need those kinds of plays against Bama or Ohio State, but should not need miracles against teams like VT (or Luhvul).

Kid is unreal and he shows up EVERY SINGLE DAY.
YEP,
X Also showed up every day 24-7 training till total exhaustion actually it was almost dangerous to his health how he trained.
X had no fanfare no paparazzi other demand to feed there pride and there bag 💼.

X won his one on one match ups way before taking the field, X is practically uncover-able in CFB.

“ you train like no other so you can be like no other “

X is a 1st team All American 1st round NFL draft choice.

X is an example of what the word ELITE really means.

GOCANES

Don’t disagree with your overall point whatsoever - but Restrepo’s pops is Columbian. I think he has done enough to distance himself from the Berrios comparisons that always get brought up online (Restrepo is significantly better). But your point on the swag definitely stands. Cam has quite a bit of swag too.
COLOMBIAN

AND IM A GRINGO

X is not the biggest, the fastest or the quickest. BUT to me he is on the Mt Rushmore of WRs at the U with M Irvin, A Johnson, S Moss & X.

4th and 10, game on the line - I'd choose X.
Naw I can't do that even with the records

Brown
Irvin
Johnson
Moss

Top 5 all time.

Not arguing it either.

X should be celebrated everyday he’s still here.
Not in any particular order. But here’s my list of all time great WR’s that played at The U.

X isn’t the best to ever do it here but my dude is definitely in the conversation! Well done young man!! Well done!!

Playmaker
Reggie Wayne
Andre Johnson
Santana Moss
X
Travis Benjamin
Santana Moss
Eddie Brown
Brian Blades
Randall Hill

This is what I thought. I don’t remember the play well, maybe they considered it wasn’t a good pass so it isn’t a drop per say
It’s not that he dropped the pass. It’s more like we’re surprised he didn’t come down with it because he’s catching almost every single ball that he touches these days.

It was a bad pass that was thrown over his head and behind him and he was still able to reach up and back and get a hand on the ball.

That incompletion was on Cam if you ask me!
