He was my QB on my high school team. I played WR with him.

Chick should walk on too.
Chick was never a pass rusher I dont understand y people bash the guy. He will always be a 5 to 8 sack guy, hes a motor guy and would be a great player if we had depth. I could see a Chick play at Bama under Saban and be a boss with less snaps on the field. Hes a rotation guy.
I'm not bashing him, he's one of my favorite players. I just think if we get hit with a bunch of scholly reductions, it'd be a pretty badass thing to do for the good of the team if he chose to walk on.
It's comical that people on here think guys like RLIII should walk-on "for the good of the team". Bet these are the guys that might make 2-3 games a year and have never given a dime to the school.

Is Chick's family loaded or something? Who in their right mind would give up $40K+ unless they have tons of money (and even then it would be questionable).

Agreed, that seems pretty stupid to me. Chick was forced to play from day 1, mostly opposite subpar talent on the other side of the line. Let's see how the next 2 years play out before people bash him.

If I could I would neg you for talking to THE Canefreak2001 like that.
Welcome to the U. When you are about to get hit with some scholie reductions, walkons are very helpful. Where did he go before UM?

This, Lmao!!! It's fine, anyone can talk to me however they want. He was an okay QB, hopefully can run the scout team QB well cause he has pretty decent speed.
