WR Marquez Ezzard update

Can he sign his LOI whenever he wants or does he have to wait for NSD?

Don't know how it works with the new early signing period.

You only have like a 3 or 5 day window during early signing period and after that it reopens on NSD.

The early signing period was 3 days. Once that finished, the earliest anyone can now sign his LOI is February 7

I wasn’t a fan of taking Ezzard over Grimes, but if we’re going to make this sort of move, he would be it.

Watched enough of his highlights to know he’ll be the next Cane great. He’s not long stride fast, but he’s explosive fast, meaning puts immediate pressure on the DB covering him to either stay flat footed to break on the ball on a comeback route or flip the hips to run w him. That’s what u want if a guy is not a 4.4 speed demon. High points the ball w strong hands, and uses his stocky, muscular frame to shield defenders or run through them. W Dugans staying, he’ll be one of our best down field blockers, and wouldn’t be surprised if he starts a couple of fights and frustrations from his style of play.

We have full weapons on O now, regardless of experience:

-Richards will be thee man coming back, and he might break some more records.
-JT the jet will no doubt be more explosive and better used.
-Harley will pack on some more pounds and I expect for him to be unleashed across zone reads.
-Langham and Cager should build off of last season and get stronger.
-Noodles is going to be a future All American.
-Wiggins is going to be a guy no one plans for, so all he’ll do is move the chains deep.
-BH is going to absolutely kill either first downs or TDs.
-Irvin II should be more of an integral part of the game as he came alive later on in the season.
-B.J and W.M will be the most prolific TE duo in our history, imo.
-Lo, Homer, and Davis, will definitely kill in the run game.

Jesus De Christo, the season needs to start already. And #FreeNikosiPerry so we can utilize these weapons!

Cager will take Langhams snaps I think but both will struggle to get on field.

You forgot about DEEJAY lol. he might be our most dynamic player.

My fault!! How in tf did I forget Deejay! Absolutely!

Cager is top 3 WR on the team with Richards and Thomas.

Our success next year will be all about the QB.

let me be fair. he worked hard to come on at the end of the year but if he's a top 3 wr on a team, you're not competing for a national title.

We need a big receiver. Cager is going to play.

He's 6'5 with a lot of talent.... saying you're not competing for a national title if he's top 3 is the dumbest comment posted on this board today.

4-star kid built like a brick ****house...

Offers from most of the big dogs in college football...

Highlight tape full of long TD's...

And yall worried about his speed.

These boys want track athletes instead of football players...because that’s how you win games apparently.

He probably plays faster than his 40 time

Yup. Cager and Langham better be working their butts off. Hightower IMO will compete for that big WR role right away.
