WR Malachi Toney reclassifies to 2025 Class... Decommits 10/3

I’m stopped following recruiting like a maniac the way I used to because I’m confident that when pen meets paper Mario will sign us a class that will allow us to compete at the highest levels year in year out. I can’t be bothered with a kid that would would pick a dumpster fire over a rising top 10 undefeated team.

Seems like the best players not named Bain and Jeremiah are from everywhere else. Not sfla

If I were a major recruit and thought I was as good as anyone, would be hard to turn down Bama after watching that game in person. That was as big time as it gets in college football. It was what Miami/FSU used to be.

WR recruiting is so weird with this program.

Best offense we’ve had by far in the last 20 years.. and we can’t get top notice WR’s.

Not really weird. Makes perfect sense to me. Poor initial offensive scheme, empty QB room, south Florida emphasis.

The skill position recruiting is at least A LITTLE BIT concerning. I know Trader and Ny Carr were both Top 100 guys and Jordan Lyle and Mark Fletcher are both solid. But it has mostly been meh. Relying on the portal feels risky too. Not a lot of top-end talent at that position in the portal.

Ehh it was a sloppy game in which there were turnovers galore. Neither of those 2 are winning the title. Lot of living off hype of previous years. Ending was crazy, but it wasnt as good as Miami vs. VT from a game watch standpoint.

Like if you sat 2 fans down, they didnt know anything about any 4 teams, the Miami vs. VT game was a better game with a crazier ending. The fact the other game involved Alabama and UGA it gets way more hyped.

Make no mistake previous Bama and UGA versions would smash this years teams.
