21 TD's is sick. Looks like Corn Elder out there.
That’s exactly why having Stubbs, instead of the other guy that everybody was crying about, makes so much sense. Route running can be taught, not 4.3’s.Ok, wasn't there a whole Podcast about how athletic # for WRs don't correlate to all conference WRs? The dude is fast, but he definitely does not show good route running ability at all, majority of the time he is just running right by the defender. People gawking over the 4.31 when we just had this conversation that speed doesn't mean everything at the WR position. I'm not saying he isn't a take, but some people act like he should jump up to be #1 on our WR board.
As most who have been following along know, Miami's WR board has seemingly changed and grown by the day so far this spring and summer. One prospect who we know has been rising on UM's board, though, is 2020 Dutch Fork (SC) WR Jalin Hyatt. The Virginia Tech commit was offered in February, and since then, Taylor Stubblefield has maintained steady contact with Hyatt. While he didn't have time for a full interview, Hyatt did tell CIS that he is planning on making it down to Coral Gables for an official visit this fall and commented on his relationship with Stubblefield, who visited him at his school during the spring evaluation period.
"It's great so far," Hyatt said. "We talk a lot about the concept of football, what offense they run. He tells me it is amazing down there."
The 3-star prospect recently visited Tennessee this weekend before the dead period went into effect on Monday. Michigan is in heavy pursuit and trying to flip him from the Hokies as well. At 6-0 160 pounds, he recorded a 4.31 40 time and a 34.70 inch vertical leap at the Opening Charlotte Regional in April.
Not verified numbers, but this says 4.18 shuttle in 2017Surprised no one has asked yet, but what's his shuttle? At 160 lbs, 4.31 40 and 34.7 vert don't make sense. Either his vert should be higher or the 40 time is off somehow.
I draw no conclusions about his quality as a prospect, just a question, so please don't @ me from either side of this debate.
It's been too quiet with Fleming, never good.
The dude lasted in the league a lot longer than guys drafted near him like Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, Tavon Austin, and Justin Blackmon.Raiders fan? Heyward Bey fixin to blow up!
Not verified numbers, but this says 4.18 shuttle in 2017
I have to agree... I don’t see any 4.3 speed on that film
To have that kind of speed at his age and level he should be walking people with ease.

I'm not sure what 4.3 speed looks like - and I don't think you do either.
A lot of what he's running - is the plays - as called.
If you'd actually watched the film - you'd have seen him multiple times have to stop as he'd outrun the QB's arm.
Football isn't a damned track meet.
Stubbs gets this guy and it would be a bigger get than Worsham
No just don’t feel like spelling his entire name. It’s laziness. I still don’t get the hire.First the guy couldnt recruit now his last name is shortened as a term of endearment. shiiiit

I’m going to wait and see who he gets to sign but more importantly the development of our current WRs for this seasonStill? Looks good to me so far.
