“We got a little competitive because [receivers] coach [George McDonald] tells us if the cornerbacks hold us we can hit them in the gut because they’re not going to get any better from holding us,” Carter explained. “He held me on my route, so I just hit him in the gut, and we got in a little scuffle. But everything’s still love — nothing serious.

Love that. They're not going to be hold in real games so don't let them hold in practice. It's the little things...

Love coach Mcdonald. Our receivers looked way better last season than the previous season. Carter also has won my praise so far.

If you're a gambler, these little tidbits give you a ton of confidence in laying some serious coin on the over for total wins. It's so refreshing to have competence running through all levels of this program.

Why is that corching?

Because you are telling your WR's to punch a CB when he is holding instead of COACHING the kid not to hold.

Waiting for one of our WRs to do this during the game and for ESPN to show it in slow motion

He is a coach isn't he. I did not realize coaches could not talk to anyone outside of his position group. Smh.

SMDH, indeed.

The WR coach's job is to teach WRs how to get over on DBs. His job, especially in fall camp when all you have is competition between teammates, is NOT to help the DBs get over on his guys.

Besides, how do we know he isn't teaching them to open-handed jab them in the gut? That might be legal, and effective. Crane technique = WE BACK!!!
