Would you be happy?

Any class without Matthew Thomas is at best a B in my book. You don't miss out on the defensive player in Florida over the last 5 years, who happens to be in your backyard and coached by a guy who used to work for the program, and not suffer the consequences.

If the class is missing Thomas and Collins, it starts at a C+, at best.

If the class is missing Thomas, Collins and Coley, it starts at a C.

IMO this hurt us, Ice's action show he is no friend of the current staff.

Happy? Yes.

But a class without Thomas is destined to feel a bit empty.

If he don't wanna be here then so be it. I ain't gonna be "Empty" with the class we get. Those fools who don't see what Golden and Co. are building then they can get flattened along the way.

Is it still a B if Toby Johnson is somehow added?

and Bryant?

And LOL at forgetting all the other studs already committed.

With a close of

Alex Collins
Stacy Coley
Jermaine Grace
Jaynard Bostwick
Gus Edwards
Terrell Brooks

I assume that's how it will look right now with everything we are reading. This obviously would still be a strong close, and if Matthew Thomas didn't exist, we would be going crazy over this close. But as much as i want Collins and Coley, there will still be a sick feeling in my stomach if we let Thomas get away. Especially if he goes to FSU.

Yes. That's a **** of a close that addresses a ton of need. Rule #1 in recruiting: NEVER get hung up on one player. Thomas is my #1 want, but he could easily turn out to be another uber recruited Willie Williams and a Grace could be the next practically ignored Jon Vilma. That's why its about numbers and not being depended on one guy.

If you keep it strictly on the football field, who would you be more happy about getting

6 and Kirkland

or

Johnson and Bryant?

**** dude I haven't even had lunch yet. That's a tough one. I'm not sure because the allure of Thomas is about as big as Johnson. We need impact DT's. Kirk ain't no thang for me but risking Bryant would be a no brainer. So I'll go with TJ & Bryant
