I still don't get why we didn't recruit Fields. That said, picking to play for McEltooth and Nussmeier would be stupid given who else he could learn under...like anyone else he's considering.

They have franks who will be very good and mcellwain and nussmeier both have loads of big time
Cfb qb/oc experience and even some NFL. Their offense was left garbage at qb but now with franks and potentially fields they will be much much better.

As long as we keep our class intact we should continue our ascent. But I'd be surprised if if doesn't start making a move this year into the top 15 or top ten with franks. Mcellwain has been slowly developing him.
