You seem to think its ONLY a talent issue from how you phrase this.. I have major concerns when multiple weeks go by and guys are still getting had by same plays, or we seem confused by simple motion. Im watching other games and other defenses dont even budge because players are on same page.

The fact we cant even line up and a team can run a handful of plays and score at will is wayy past malpractice to me. I still cant believe we cant even line up

See, you can't even describe the defense correctly. We can't line up? Teams score at will? If you weren't so dramatic and hyperbolic, maybe it wouldn't upset you so much.

Joseph has definitely been one of the biggest disappointments for me

Not writing him off yet but that 2023 class skill position players had two top end WRs and neither of them have shown anything (Washington and Joseph)

Granted 2024 was a good WR group but we are gonna be in the portal again looking for a lot of WR help at this rate and it’s like wtf are we even doing

100%. If a kid can't sniff the field with supposed really good athletic traits, it's usually one of these reasons:

- doesn't know the playbook
- has a bad attitude
- isn't as good/fast as we thought he was

I can't imagine the first two apply here given how smart he is and what a model citizen he was coming out of HS. I'm wondering if the last one applies which would surprise me a bit considering he was nicknamed "Flash" when he was on SFE. Regardless, spring is big for him b/c if he doesn't emerge out of spring as one of the playmakers on offense, he might portal. He might portal anyway if we bring in Concepcion via the portal.

It's not that the defense "gets a pass". We just know that the defensive roster isn't changing in the middle of the season.

The frustration is, you have a generational offense, if you were to just match last year defense, you would be alright. You have solid additions to this defense in Barrow, and OJ, Alderman, Alston, you expect Bain, a healthy Mesidor, and improve Kiko, Wesley, and Porter, it shouldn't be this bad. Something is not right, when your best players are the ones, that just got here.
