You haven't noticed a lack of effort, especially on the D side?

Cam is a GREAT player, but sometimes with great players, you have others not stepping up and doing their parts. Our entire D looks like they are simply going through the motions, waiting to get back to the sideline so Cam can get to work.

It fell on previous head coaches, but recently that has not been the case for some reason.

Maybe I've been logging on to a different board, but we both know Mario is crucified around here.

Perhaps, or maybe the team plays better as a team, because they aren't so damned comfortable with Cam saving their rear ends.

While Cam has covered up some warts, I also believe he has exposed some. Our team looks like they are relying only on him. I'm talking consciously believing that he has their backs, so they don't have to try so hard. "Oh we're gonna score 50, so what does it matter if GT scores 28?" Week after week. Same old crap.

Even our fans have same mindset.. I saw post like that last week where when someone bought up the defense they would say can GT keep up with 50 points? or just hold them to 30 and we score 50.. And its like, it doesnt work that way.. Even in games where we are giving up explosives is better than the dog walking of nickle and dime down the field..

The gift and the curse essentially..

Now the offense has to play perfect because the defense gets a pass.. They can allow 30 a game with no repercussions because everyone expects the O to score 50.

It's not that the defense "gets a pass". We just know that the defensive roster isn't changing in the middle of the season.

Yea the success rate in between explosives was passable in a lot of those other games and so you could argue it was complementary bad defense that keeps the pace high and maybe gets a turnover and causes havoc.

Allowing an opponent that can't throw to control the clock and then score a TD every time in the red zone is ridiculously bad. Dudes scored 3 on Virginia Tech the week before.

Yep, every week win or lose, Pontius Pilate washes his hands of the program, and up goes the Cross, while the rabid horde calls out for his crucifixion. Bc, some fans are also just miserable Ba****ds. And, you know Misery loves Company. Just sayin’

Huh? We’ll lose x, JG, and probably brown and Kirk. Horton is really good. Carr and trader barely sniffed the field and need more s&c.

I say the WR is a huge question mark For next year.

Joseph has definitely been one of the biggest disappointments for me

Not writing him off yet but that 2023 class skill position players had two top end WRs and neither of them have shown anything (Washington and Joseph)

Granted 2024 was a good WR group but we are gonna be in the portal again looking for a lot of WR help at this rate and it’s like wtf are we even doing

Mario puts Miami at a disadvantage on the sidelin, so what Mario really need are elite Xs and Os coordinators who maybe at one point was a head coach at a smaller school.​

Miami’s playbook is Cam, “You do whatever you want” WR screens, and running up the gut.​

I was told Joseph was one of those Tutu Atwell SoFl high school superstars that sneaks out of the state to Syracuse or some such and we wonder how we missed on him.

He looks small and slow so far. Washington has been smart and moved to his money position. Last year was our first good WR class under Mario.

Dude went from in rotation in gators game with top 4 guys to unplayable. YIKES.

I want guys to know how to play defense atleast. If we get beat fine but not even knowing how to have your guys line up is unacceptable. Thats just me, telling a part of your team its your fault unless you score 50 points because the D can do whatever just doesnt sit right to me.

Do you not think our staff is doing everything they can to make it better? Sometimes you're stuck with what you have to work with.
