Kyle Cobia was the last one as @The Real Kirk Lazarus mentioned... Well... cleveland reed went there his senior season originally from ft meade Gianni Paul I believe is the last kid we took from the city of Lakeland but he went to Kathleen.

It's kids there that will come and will play and ball out. Coaches keep going there recruiting the clout chasers knowing it's a recipe for disaster. Sumerall the tight end Zipperer Bowman the RB Reed all failed. Ventrell Miller (k'leen/uif/jags) and Tyrice Knight (lake gibson/utep/seahawks) only ones so far from that class to make and produce in the league funny they both linebackers too.

I wouldn't even truly classify Reed as a Lakeland kid. Really a fort meade kid who went to Lakeland for his senior season. Still another Lakeland bust tho
