I respect your opinion. I have him a bit higher than you do. I think he can be solid and to me thats better than nothing.

I completely disagree. We hit last year with our DB recruiting class. You are passing blame on Banda and Rumph for the down year in recruiting. It is more about the disappointing season that has affected recruiting. We need to win and establish a winning culture. When we can win the Coastal in our sleep and finally win an ACC championship, the top recruits will come. There's not much you can say to a top recruit when your team is underperforming and the winning culture isn't there.

Approaching how to make a tackle and taking a proper angle are not the same thing. Everybody is coached on how to approach a tackle based on the technique they teach (I gave inside hip as an example but there are many ways it can be taught based on how you teach tackling) but pursuit angle is something that's judged on the fly by the players based on their ability and perceived ability on an opponent. Jaylon Smith not taking the same angle that Shaq Quaterman is taking on a toss sweep. And neither one is take the same angle vs say Ron Dayne vs Lingard. People take bad angles all the time, there isn't a Madden roster in real life so you know exactly what the other person speed is vs yours so it's going to happen. You see if every Saturday and Sunday. Bama took plenty of bad angles vs Oklahoma so I guess they have bad defensive coaches too?
 
Not holding hope but 3 days before he announces Stevenson tells Wiltfong he’s going to Ga. and Stampani says he’s actively recruiting Elam to Ga.???? So he goes a full 2 weeks without saying anything and all of a sudden is so open. Seems odd, all our luck he is telling the truth but why blow your manhood days before?????

I know he's got marginal speed and I dont expect him to ever be a sub 4.5 guy. Also I'm not saying he should start next year. I like some of his game, I'd be willing to mive him to FS, redshirt him, tell him he should try to graduate in 3 years, see what he looks like as a rFR & rSO and send him to Jacksonville St if it dont work out. I think he's good enough to try out as a 3rd S for the class.

They aren't required to be able to read the kid. Cooney has a relationship with the kid and his brother is the kids coach. We are either still simps that care more about maintaining relationships with kids then they do about them coming to play football at UM or he's coming to Miami. We all as fans better hope it's the latter or we still have a real problem at the top of the program.
