Wiltfong with Crystal Ball for Tyrique

Ahh, so players that early enroll can send their LOI at anytime prior to when they start class? But then why did people make a big deal about TS signing on the last day of early signing period?

Really only because a decision was made and they figured at some point it would leak out.

Hartley and Dugans? Hard to judge that move until I see who we bring in. The on the field product was an issue with both of them. ST was god awful and that’s Hartleys job. He also struck out on TE in year 1 and 3. Dugans WR all cried and dropped the ball. Lot of high rated guys not performing. I’m ok with starting fresh on that side of the ball. I would like to see Diaz bring in an elite DC who can recruit and move Banda and Patke back to position coaches.
Hartley: I agree with the thought that he needed to be relieved of his ST duties. ST was an abject failure this year. Only bubba was respectful and even he was suspect at times. Hartely as a TE's coach was good in my opinion. I don't quite get your he struck out in year 1 and year 3 statement. Year 1: David N'Joku (All ACC, 1st round pick), Year 2: Chris Henderson (All ACC, 4th round pick), Year 3: Brevin Jordan (Freshmen AA) and injuries derailed his position group this year.

Dugans: Dugans should've had more control of his position room. I don't get people blaming him for the drops, that's on the players. Another thing, drops happen. Look at how many drops happend during an NFL game, let alone a college game. Poor QB crippled the WR's too.

I would like to hire a legit DC too but that's not happening, so no need to engage in mental *********ion with that topic.

Struck out recruiting. Polendy will never see the field. Year 2 great with Mallory and Jordan. Year 3 got Hodges and missed in everyone else.

Banda turned Jamal Carter and Rayshawn Jenkins into NFL players. Then he turned Sheldrick Redwine and Jaquan Johnson into NFL players. We also had a top 5 pass defense.

Firing him would be insanity.
C'mon brother. Rayshawn and jaquan learned nothing from this man. Jamal was actually a testament to how little he could coach just as Robert Knowles is to an extent I suppose Main difference being jrock will tear your head off. Similarities are neither was able to learn how to read the field and both could never figure out the angles they should use on field. similarities with that extend heavily to sheldrick & to a lesser extent even jaquan... That all falls back on the coaching they don't receive. But anyone that thinks manny will actually fire this dude is trippin. If love to be surprised but hes brought this dude all over the country with him. That's like alfraud saying to no d get up out of here

And Redwine? He’s been the most improved player on the entire team...

Stevenson would be a huge miss, kid is the best player in Dade and will probably an instant impact freshman.

He probably signed the LOI to UGA and told the Miami coaches he’s still waiting to decide.

Why do people keep saying this dumb sht? Do you think it's funny and are pandering for likes. Jeez man. Even if the kid didn't already say multiple times that he signed on the last day of ESD and will be announcing who he signed with at the Army game. His ***ing coaches brother works for Miami and would have knowledge if Tyrique signed with UGA or not. I get that everyone thinks the coaches are 100% simps but even a **** simp can and will obtain knowledge that is that easily attainable.

that doesn't make sense, don't you have to sign your LOI prior to the end of the early signing period (which lasts 3 days) or else you have to wait till the regular signing period? So he is going to send his LOI on January 5th, how is that possible?
I thought if u signed the aid u can sign the LOI any time after that. I’m not sure if that’s correct tho

http://www.espn.com/blog/ncfrecruit...0/recruits-can-sign-early-financial-aid-deals

This is an older article, but what I get from it is that the only thing it does is force the university to have to grant you a scholarship, but the player is not obligated to go there and can sign grants with multiple schools.

From what I get from the article, though, it says nothing about being able to sign your LOI at a date that is not a signing period, so either in Feb. or now in the early signing period. In fact the only quote that resembles something in those terms is:

"Traditionally, midyear enrollees have signed, after beginning college coursework, with the remainder of their recruiting classes in February."

So that means, prior to the early signing period, you would actually start class if you are an early enrollee without having signed a LOI until February with the rest of the class (unless I'm reading that wrong).

So either TS signed and sent his LOI during the last day of early signing period or he just signed the aid and that means nothing as he still change his mind until Feb. (or more realistically once classes start)

Nope NLI can only be signed during the designated period. Honestly kid doesn't even have to sign the LOI and I don't know why kids sign it anyway he be good with his Grant aid papers when he shows up to whatever school to enroll in classes

Its not about the share is about getting the ones at the top of the list
I disagree with you to an extent. I think getting our share of the top of the list is a fair way to look at it. You gotta know that the top of our list is gonna be heavily recruited by about everyone. It’s unrealistic to think we get all of them. It is on coaches to increase the share though.

Its important when people chime in that they realize certain things are part of an ongoing conversation in many instances. I've said numerous times hes certainly improved. But that's like saying to go from meirda to fertilizer is enough. Robert Knowles has greatly improved as well. But he still is not someone to be used as an example for what a great job a coach or player is doing. He has improved to the level that you can say in most instances hes no longer one of our bigger weaknesses on d. But hes certainly not one of our strengths. Hes serviceable is what he is... for me and any of us who I associate with who hold people on this team to a set standard serviceable dont cut it. Before you respond to the standard comment I'll clarify we dont have many players who play up to that standard as of now. In my eyes alot of that falls on the deaf ears of coaches who have neglected there duties. I'm glad for once a dialogue between us fixnt result in the usual
