No. I think there are many good recruiters. But I do not believe there are any great recruiters. Every great recruiter, IMO, is a good recruiter with a bunch of money to buy the players they can buy.
I use Mirabal as an example. Was he a great recruiter last year and a bad recruiter this year? I seriously doubt it.
He is a good recruiter who had money to spend last year, and does not this year.
JT will be hailed by some as a great recruiter if we bring in good Dline haul. People will write about him being in the HOF and his personality, etc..
But if we bring in the great Dline class this year we won’t allocate the same NIL funds next year. Will people questions his recruiting the following season?
