A “silent” to an out of state school means absolutely nothing. Kids talk with coaches and make it seem like they are coming all the time. Then the coaches say they feel good about a kid, it gets back to insiders..you know the deal. Happens to Pete all the time.

I don’t expect Campbell in this class, but a “silent” to Georgia right now is worth less than a thesis by Meat on the wave function.

Jan. 26th will tell us everything. And don’t get it twisted; if u don’t think Mike Rumph wasn’t hired in part b/c of this, ur fooling urself. So if we don’t land at least TC, I don’t expect him to remain here in a coaching capacity. It’s no different then Ice coming on board w his influence on Booker T and his connections in So Fla which didn’t pan out. But I think UGA is about to be in a rude awakening like OSU was.

Sure that is all fine and dandy when the kids let the coaches know (or they figure it out), but were you not hear last year's recruitment of DBs where we thought up until the night before signing day that we had two that ended up going somewhere else?

By all accounts, Campbell is a respectful kid. He’s handling things the right way. I wouldn’t put him in the same category as Hendo and Jobe.

He may not come here but I doubt he’s telling multiple schools he’s committed and “playin the game”

I hear you and Jobe does seem like a piece, but by all accounts it seemed the Henderson truly went back and forth - hoping if that is the case with Campbell that we end up on the good side of the back and forth.

I think a lot of people on this board have been in denial. Seems like he's had three different favorites this cycle (Ohio State, Clemson and now UGA) but never Miami. Seems like he's looking for every reason to not stay home.

Rumph not the problem. Silvera mentioned that his family trust him and they have known him since he was 8 years old last week. What concerns me is that Campbell only mentioned Rumph as a coach he trust at um but at Bama listed Ansley and saban, uga Mel tucker , Kirby smart, James Coley. Maybe richt and the others aren’t pulling their weight? Who knows, but in the end i still think we get him

So now you’re so desperate to white knight Rumph you’re saying Rick’s not carrying his weight. So it’s going to be Rick’s fault when he doesn’t sign now? You need to go up a size, Broke. Your skinny jeans are too tight and they’ve affected the circulation to the brain.

it is on richt. everything is. everything begins and ends with him. He is the head coach. he's the boss. he's the guy that makes the most money. when people discuss Miami's recruiting class, they say Mark Richt's recruiting class. good or bad. Nick Saban is hands on when he's recruiting the elite players. because he knows the buck ends with him. when elite recruits commit to alabama, the reports are they committed to Nick Saban. so if Dline and secondary issues are there in recruiting, yeah its on the position coach, but Richt is right there to take half the blame.

and its on Richt to recognize the weaknesses in his staff and either fill in the blanks or get someone new.

If he truly is a silent to Georgia, that means we no longer lead. I can't see how that could mean nothing. It doesn't mean we have no chance, but it would definitely mean we are losing ground and our chances are worse than yesterday. That means something.

So yall believe he told uga coaches he is a silent, but didn't let his family know? Righttttt and all those cb's will flip right back to Miami when he doesn't commit to uga and visits Us.
