Drama queen much.
How in tf did u become a staff member? The bar must’ve been really lowered.
Drama queen much.
Really and Lane Kiffin had nothing to do with FAUS offense or Major Applewhite had nothing to do with Houstons offense, Kiffin and Applewhite were both very successful o.c.s from major programs, Do you think both Kiffin and Applehite did have a big if not a large say in the direction of the offense. Briles might turn out to be a good hire, But you all are treating him like Bill Walsh. Why am I not surprised that this fan base cherry picks one game from Briles' catalog to try and disprove his offensive prowess? Most smart fans were screaming for Richt to hire Briles. Now all of a suddenly he's a bum because the entire program checked out of a bowl game?
Even if you say that Daddy's fingerprints were over the offenses at Baylor in '15 & '16, you can't say that about his time at FAU and Houston.
He took FAU from the 80th scoring offense in 2016 to the 8th scoring offense in 2017 (26.4 ppg to 40.6 ppg).
He took Houston from the 65th scoring offense in 2017 to the 6th scoring offense this season (28.3 ppg to 43.9 ppg).
He learned at the side of one of the best offensive minds this game has ever seen. He put up silly numbers with power 5 leftovers. What's he gonna do with actual blue chip recruits?
...Like I said in my thread about a week ago. Its been a done deal for a while.Unreal. Never thought it would happen. For ***** Sakes.
This is a crippling blow.
FSU is going to be legit.
Houston scores 14 points against Army! Great game plan!
Applewhite was at Houston in 2017 when their offense was worse than ours. Is it just a coincidence that their offense drastically improved after he brought Briles on board?Really and Lane Kiffin had nothing to do with FAUS offense or Major Applewhite had nothing to do with Houstons offense, Kiffin and Applewhite were both very successful o.c.s from major programs, Do you think both Kiffin and Applehite did have a big if not a large say in the direction of the offense. Same as Lane's falling off this year after Briles left. This dude steady white knighting for Rorcht and became a staff member, WTFApplewhite was at Houston in 2017 when their offense was worse than ours. And FAU's scoring offense went from top 10 last year to 50th this year without Briles.
Lovely, FSU continues to improve. Meanwhile, we lose our best player to Illinois of all schools ANd lose our best coach in Diaz. Nothing to see here fellas....
Your kidding, They lost there only impact player to the nfl. They losing another top dt to nfl. They losing one of there top 2 running backs and several starters off there crap offensive line with nobody to replace them. They have 2 scholly quarterbacks and the starter is the most hated man in Tallahassee who might not even return. There recruiting was aweful and several of there top recruits haven't committed yet. They hire an o.c. from the conference with probably the worst defensive teams where every team scores 50 every game, and everybody here acts like they brought Bill Walsh from the dead. Yes they improved, ROFL.FSU continues to improve. Lol. Do you guys know what that word means?
Why because Im not on the board whining and crying about a coaching hire. How you got to be a staff member is far more intriguing of a question.
I think this recent addition to the staff really needs to be answered. I can ignore the faulty logic in this paragraph, but this egregious misuse of "your" and "there" in the same sentence, the first sentence no less, I will not stand for. @DMoney we need some answers homieYour kidding, They lost there only impact player to the nfl. Grow a pair
Briles is going to be hard to stop at FSU. Big improvement for their offense.LOL at anyone thinking this isn’t a big win for FSU and Taggart. Granted he’ll likely move on to a HC job within 3 years but in the short term this is a home run hire for Taggart. Briles is legit.

Amazing but not suprising that people actually think fsu is “trending up”
I’m just disappointed that they made a quality change and we did nothing.
