We shall see. Kayaa Vs Heaps. When was the last time we actually had a QB battle? What's funny is that Kayaa has a had the play books for Several months even before he hit campus which is longer then Heaps so if he comes out with pure knowledge of the playbook and excuting it could be interesting

Yeah his supporting cast was pure garbage. Every play he had to rush throws and when he did, they dropped or it was tip because they couldn't catch it.

I say we just start Kaaya. We aren't winning anything significant this season IMO. Might as well just let the young kid get reps.
 
imo i think heaps will do just fine being the line we have and the playmakers around him, you definately cant take what he did at kansas serious being he had a bunch of garbage around him, im pulling for him to start and would love to see kaaya r/s being imo he is the future here at miami and with cactus jack coming in to fill the void for the future behind kaaya, cant wait till the season to start and i got faith in heaps going forward with the exp that he brings to the field.
 
I have a feeling Kaaya doesn't redshirt and we see him here and there throughout the season, maybe a series or 2 in a game
 
I would def play Kaaya in mop up if he doesn't take the starting role. Then we won't have to wonder how he is going to do against his first action next year.

Golden said he wants to redshirt one of the true freshmen QBs. So I doubt Kaaya gets a redshirt. Rosier is far more likely to get it.

You can also ruin a young QB if he isn't ready.

Williams was going to be the starter and I sit see much difference between Heaps and Williams talent wise

yeah and the plays he wasnt sacked, he was hurried. lol honestly, morris had no game management ability so i doubt he will be much worse.

Getting sacked that many times is usually indicative of bad pocket presence.
 
Heaps has accuracy problems that goes back to high school. Dude only completed like 59% in high school.

he might suprise people but im going with kaaya.

Last year Brees was sacked 37 Times ,Brady 40 and Russell Wilson 44.
 
We are fooked at QB. You thought Morris was awful. Just wait. You better brace yourselves 'cause Golden is gonna bring it around town.
