The narrative is definitely out there. But did Mario actually prevent Herbert from finding any objective success in college or the pros ? Seems like an easy rebuttal to me if a prospect, prospects family, or rival school tries to leverage that narrative against us.Mario has a rep whether we like it or not. maybe now people will believe it
and yet we cant land an elite HS QB recruit or portal QBThe narrative is definitely out there. But did Mario actually prevent Herbert from finding any objective success in college or the pros ? Les Pauls are beautiful guitars but I’ve never loved the way they soundLeo Fender and Les Paul were friends. Fender wanted Les to use his new Telecaster and Les wanted Gibson to make the guitar he designed.
Les didn't like the way the Fender sounded which is why he went his own way. Variety is the spice of life.Les Pauls are beautiful guitars but I’ve never loved the way they sound
Rickenbackers.
And any guitar that Eddie Van Halen improved upon.

and in the end Gibson still made bolt-on guitars without humbuckers like the LP Junior and Fender still made set neck guitars with humbuckers like the Robben Ford model ... my favorite sound is a PAF style humbucker on an ash body with a bolt-on maple neck -- one of my guitars is fitted with an old Gibson PAF and an old Fender CuNiFe -- both designed by the incomparable Seth Lover (who one could argue had a greater impact on guitar than even Leo himself)Les didn't like the way the Fender sounded which is why he went his own way. i love ES models and Firebirds -- LPs are just too muddy for mePlay a custom shop Gibby and you will know why they're the best.
