Will Howard to Ohio St

We prefer to be sniffing the jockstrap of a QB's dad. A QB who is unable to secure the football, isn't very smart, went 5-7, scored 24 or less vs. UCLA, Arizona, Oregon, Stanford (7 points, QBR of 20.6) and Washington. A QB people call electric with the ball in his hands, yet somehow ran 120 times for 144 yards. 38 sacks don't help that stat, but we're acting like he's the next Lamar Jackson.

I am ****ed we lost Howard. I don't get the hype on Ward. I'm not saying he won't be adequate. But he's not the top QB available IMHO. And I'm frustrated we're not looking at multiple other options at this point. Bring me Taulia.

If Ward does commit, I'll root for him and be ecstatic when he proves me wrong.
What makes u say ward “isn’t very smart” ?

And should we look at howard worst games too?

Why do yall feel u have to put down one guy to prop up the other one?

I’m with you brother, very disappointed to see Howard going to USC. Howard is the best Qb in the portal but many here are just blind. I truly hope that it’s worth the wait for Ward in the end but Fock it’s disappointing😖

Have only see KJ's highlights and his passing-game looks shaky.

We haven't seen JB play in a while and i'm looking forward to seeing a more poised passer.
Don’t look at this year OC was *** look at him 2 years ago with the previous OC he had elite level number in the SEC. Hes a stud a nice 3 rd option

Howard is light years better than KJ. So if UM got the first visit and could have easily met Howard's $$$ requirements (I am guessing lower than Wards) but chose not to, then why would it try to get Jefferson, who is a major drop off talent-wise?
2023
Jefferson - 64.2%, 2107 (447 rush), 19:8 after years of 24:5 and 21:4, 21 rush TD in 4 years
Howard - 61.3%, 2643 (351 rush), 24:10, after year of 15:4, 19 rush TD in 4 years

Jefferson's 2022 and 2021 are much better than Howard's output those years.

Fair enough. I don't know much about him other than what I've read on the internet. Two different sites (both nfl draft sites) said the same thing - he struggles with decision making and pre-snap reads. I haven't watched his games so maybe that concern is overblown. In any case, as others have pointed out, entering the portal a couple days before the dead period is a dead giveaway that he's already got a spot somewhere, so there is no point in considering him an option.

Because reasons. I don't get it, but we have some people here that want what they want, and they are willing to denigrate a man and his son in order to get there. Mr. Ward isn't doing anything that any involved father wouldn't do, and that's be upfront about what is going on. These people don't owe us or any other program anything, dude should take his time and make the appropriate decision, and Miami should have options ready to go if need be.

if howard goes to USC and we miss on cam

I'm more prone to going for a maalik murphy, dante moore type than a 1 year average vet

might as well get an uber talented person in here and grow with them then delay that and rely on a 1 year useless rental
If this scenario were to play out I would focus on the bowl game from that point forward then figure it out after.

If Jaccuri performs on the 28th, how about investing in JB and taking that money to add more pieces to the overall team. JB has been here just putting his head down and grinding. He's a leader and would open up our offense if he can become an efficient passer.

If he performs poor on the 28th then I go after tier 3 portal qbs.

if you actually watched dolphins games you'd know about 11 of those fumbles this year are due to the center being complete *** at hiking the ball.
This is why I’ve been telling people not to get to carried away with quarterback fumble stats. Center snaps the ball into the bleachers? It’s a QB fumble. Center snaps the ball too early and hits a motion man? QB fumble.
