Will Howard to Ohio St

Get Howard. Let Camani Ward play his bidding games elsewhere. That $hitt just gets old real fast. I get the "gotta get paid while the paying is good" mentality, but enough already. There's not an appreciable difference in happiness between making $1.1m or $1.2m somewhere else. And yes, I can do math and can see the $100k difference, but when you factor in taxes and quality of life, it's really not much of a difference at all. It's why I appreciate the rare athlete superstar who sees it. D Wade helped bring in more talent by taking less. Ohtani appears to be trying to do the same. The $elfishne$$ and greed of so many is tough to stomach.
You need to chill and have some perspective.

It is no different than having job interviews with 2 companies. Let's say you get interviews for tech jobs at Google and Amazon. You interview with Google and they offer you the job with a nice salary and bonus package.

Do you take the job at Google and turn down the interview with Amazon or do you tell Google you have an interview scheduled with another company? If it's me, I take the Amazon interview and tell Google I'll give them an answer by a specific date. Interviewing with Amazon would at least validate my offer from Google giving me confidence in my decision.

There's nothing wrong with looking at another school. It's no different than committed recruits taking visits. Miami does need to set a time line for a decision. They should require an answer by Monday or they need to move on.

I have plenty of perspective. I get the negotiations, but thanks for the lecture to clear that up. I’m a fan and I want it my way. Like BK. Cuz I rule.

My biggest fear is that we lose TVD, and end up with someone worse.

When you're dealing with portal and NIL just no guarantees. Here's wishing to snagging Ward or Howard, because if we miss on those 2 there is a solid chance we aren't better off in 2024 than 2023.
Wtfudge you talking about??? You fear losing him???😂🤣😂I’ll take my chances on anyone else but that somamambich Tyler Van Yikes

He throws picks at a much higher rate than TVD.

25 picks in 779 career attempts for Howard.

23 picks in 912 career attempts for TVD.
Hey the perception of Cam Ward is that he’s a fumbling machine but you don’t seem to mention that in your assessment. Either Qb is a take but I believe Howard is better. Did you see him vs Texas??? 👀👀 no???

You have to be careful with QB fumble stats though. If the center snaps the ball over his head, it counts as a fumble by the quarterback. Although I didn't watch every single WSU game so I don't know how many were his fault.

I'm just saying, Howard does a lot of the same things that got TVD booed at home. He's a better runner but his passing ability is a drop-off from what we had.

Bro…this CIS where rational thoughts are frowned upon

Fumbling problems is a concern thats very fixable lol. If thats the concern then it says alot about the player

A lot of quarterback fumbles occur when a QB is trying to do too much. He's holding on to the ball too long, scrambling around trying to make a play. At a place like Washington State, Ward had to carry the team. He couldn't afford to just throw it away and let his defense get the ball back for him. If he didn't pull off incredible plays multiple times a game, they had no chance of winning. At Miami, it won't be like that. He'll be under less pressure, not just from opposing pass rushers but from the team relying on him. He won't have to be Superman for Miami to win most games. Just smart and consistent.

SIAP
Looks like he was beloved at KState. Sounds like an Oklahoma situation where Gabriel left due to Arnold. KState has a highly rated true freshman that needs to play. Given that kind of surprised he’s looking at SC.

Just bc a guy shouldn't have to be superman doesn't mean he won't still play like that.

Tua didn't learn that at Bama OR Miami until he got his brain scrambled and considered giving up the sport. Now he's starting to understand how to protect himself. Ward could still do the same things at his next stop. There's a few NFL QBs with the same rep/issues that have gone unresolved. Sometimes a guy is who he is.

I don't see Tua's concussion issues as being a result of him trying to do too much though. Huge difference between his and Ward's styles.
