New Orleans Saints: The Saints are hiring former Chargers head coach Brandon Staley as defensive coordinator, per NFL Network. He was an assistant with the 49ers last year.
This is the guy Harris worked for with the Chargers, I hope we don't lose him to the Saints.

This was the hire I had hoped they wouldn’t make

We’ll know real soon if that smoke was real or not, him being “in his office” this week really was meaningless since the saints hadn’t made this official yet. They aren’t going to announce the defensive position hires before the DC
 
He coached with Staley one year, right? And it must have NOT been a great year, as Staley got canned.

Certainly could happen, but I'm not shivering over a one year relationship.

In fairness Harris wasn’t even the DB coach, he was the assistant to the DB coach so idk how much of that year you could put on Harris
