Why we hate Florida so much.

This is all you need to know.

If you do not know that this was the birth of hatred towards Oof gayturds then you have no clue and true understanding of the U that you claim to love. This moment was passed on to me by my dad as to by we hate them and every ******* unsubstantiated arrogant **** those turds have done since has just added to it. ***** them turds

Somewhere there is pre-game interview footage to the '02 game, where former **** players reminisced laughingly about performing the flop and how much they enjoyed rubbing it in afterward by romping in Flipper's pool (as if anyone gave a sh*t about unrelated Dolphins stuff, but evidently the inbreds in deliverance-ville don't know the difference). To see these grown *** hicks still relish it as if it were some heroic D-Day kind of thing made me almost punch out the screen. That we stomped their ***, and Sikes running back the pick to put a cherry on it made it all better:

Miami takes Sunshine State battle against Florida
By Eddie Pells, The Associated Press
Miami dominated. Florida flopped. The top-ranked Hurricanes left The Swamp on Saturday the same way they came in — best in the state, best in the country, and still waiting for their first big challenge of 2002.

Actually, Miami fans hated the gators long before this. The flop and subsequent splash in OUR pool in OUR stadium was just gasoline on the fire that was already burning. I hated the gators from the time I ws aware of them (early 50s).

**** these gators (Cops Florida edition)

Stand corrected, thank you. Did the intensity of and pure disdain of them equal it prior to after "the flop"? Or did it go a whole other level after? My dad was born in '51 so what was passed on to me was more a product born of the 60's in regards to the gayturds

How about, and this is going by what was told to me by a professor of mine in grad school, who was an undergrad at UF in the late 40s, so it's a little sketchy...

UM and UF playing in Gainesville in the late 40s. Game ends, not sure who won, don't think it mattered, but a brawl breaks out between UM students and UF students in the stands, which carries over to the field. To stop the fighting both bands play the Star Spangled Banner. Both sets of fans stop fighting, sing the anthem, then continue to fight. My professor said he watched the fight in the stadium, and then watched it from his dorm window as it spread across UF's campus. In spite of getting his BA, MA and Ph D from UF, he refers to them as the gutless lizards and cannot stand them.

The flop was during the dark ages of UM football. Since nobody watched the Canes during the 70s, there may be a disconnect when it comes to hatred of the turds. The flop reconnects the animosity for newer fans, since there is a video of it, not just old timer memories like mine. Anyway, I didn't hate them any more after the flop, since my hatred meter was already pegged at 100%. gator fans have always been obnoxious ********.

Painful thing about watching that one is knowing that we blew the BCS game that year

I was at this game and loved seeing their faces and their fans leaving at the end of the 3rd... most started to leave when Grossman threw the pick 6 to Mo Sikes

My favoriet play, that runback TD. Unbelievable how much the refs were sitting on us after every play to keep a lid our our "excessive" celebration tendencies..the ******** hate us having fun.

Outstanding, love and respect for our country and then back to our regularly scheduled programming of beating some turds! Lmao

I love it when Dorsey talks trash at 8:17

The #1 reason to hate Florida is because they cheat on the recruiting trail and pay for recruits.

The #2 reason to hate Florida is because they're cowards and as soon as UM started to beat their *** regularly, they stopped scheduling us. They would stop scheduling FSU too, but the state legislature actually had to FORCE UF to play FSU.

Everything about that school is yellow and cowardly down to its core. They literally run from competition at every opportunity.

They literally haven't left the state of Florida for a football game in 13 years.

The #3 reason to hate Florida is because their fans are a bunch of racist rednecks

The #4 reason to hate Florida is because Florida taxpayers have to pay for that garbage failure of a school to keep its doors open. Unlike Miami, which pays its own way in life, UF only exists thanks to the public ***.

13? I thought the last out of conference road game Florida played outside of Florida was the 1991 *** whuppin at Syracuse. I know Spurrier said after that game, he would never take the Gators out of the state for an OOC game.

Yep they haven't left the state for an OOC game since 91... I give credit at least to Bama, LSU, Georgia and Auburn for actually leaving their state an playing an OOC game. They don't use the excuse like the Gators do... "well we play in the SEC its tough enough"

I hate Florida, but only because they duck us. I wasn't around for the flop. It's more of a lack of respect for them. I mean they have only beat us once in the last 30 years. It's like asking if I hate Tennessee ... As a cane fan I probably hate Tennessee more.

I'm telling you the honest truth, everything about that program is yellow-bellied and cowardly. It's an epidemic with them and it's been that way since the 80's.

Their biggest accomplishment is being in the same conference as Alabama. Their entire self-worth as a program is derived from riding Alabama's wave of glory.

It's pretty sad, actually.

That school has the worst inferiority complex of all time. That's why so many of their fans troll our boards and make underhanded comments as well.... they're like your little brother who knows they can't beat you up, so they duck any direct confrontation, but try little underhanded ways to get under your skin.
