U have to have a coaching staff that 1 develops the talent 2 adjust to the type of players they currently have 3 have more than 5 plays

If u not developing the talent them stars means 0. Weight room is a big factor cant have o linemen benching what Dbs bench.

That’s scary...CMR has been upgrading the talent...but the team is regressing on the field.

Stars are not a guarantee of success. They are, however, a necessary pre-cursor to championship contention. Coaching determines whether you can compete with your stars, but without them, coaching can't get you over the hump alone.

Where have the playoff teams ranked

Stupid thread
Are we a playoff team? Is BC? Is UVA?

Coaching/coRching matters more when it comes to Miami football.

Stop comparing us to playoff teams when we will never get there until UM wants a competitive football progrum.

In Richt's case, wouldn't the fact that he has a habit of losing to less talented teams suggest that his **** poor coaching matters more?

Not really because he also NEVER beats more talented teams. He has maybe done it once in his entire career. If he had even less star studded teams he would be a perennial 5 win coach.

We could have Alabama's roster, and Rix would still lose to bad teams.

Same with Golden, Randy, etc.

Stars dont matter with UM football.
