Not to give myself credit or anything...BUT Thurston was one of my favorite recruits when he came to The U and I've been following him since day 1...he's been my favorite player on the team in all honesty. He reminded me of the old days when we would bring in a 2 or 3 star guy who just really wanted to play for The U and had a chip on their shoulder...and how do you not love a guy with the name Thurston Armbrister?

I've actually mentioned him in several threads on here over the last two years (and more on canestime...yeah, i know). Even recently I mentioned him as the defensive player I was looking most forward to watching this year in a thread that started before game 1. I think it was tough for him to switch from safety to LB and get thrown into the heat of things so quickly, but with a year under his belt and some added muscle I had high hopes for him this year. Hopefully he continues to get bigger and produce. Love his size and his mentality.

I actually think I read an article not too long ago about how much he likes to watch game film...and I thought it showed against UF. He had a couple of great reads for tackles in the backfield....and he blew up that screen against FAU.

I and about 4 other guys have been on The Millionaire's bandwagon since last year. Most guys hated him because he was a low-rated recruit and kind of an after-thought signing.

I really started getting on board watching Pierre emerge and learning more about Armbristers recruitment.
