Who the **** cares!

I was mad about juedy my favorite play making prospect this class. Then i remmeber ahmmon richards and than saw that he ran a 4.3 than thought Coley will have amonster year....then thought wow we have coaches....then thought we should plaster every team not named fsu

And JJ may still come; like Pete said, we're not giving up. Better to be the hunter, vs the hunted for top recruits in this day in age. Marco may, indeed choose UF, and who cares? We have a season to look forward to, a season that come change a lot of our kids mind to put on for city. Like you said, we got Richards, and if Richards balls out as a true Frosh...they'll entice some top flight WR to come here.

a pair of former 4* RBs to hand the ball to.

pretty sure Gus was only a 3 star, and he's only one running back, not a pair of them

Yearby and Walton...you sure ur a fan homie?!

If we're being accurate throw Trav Homer in there. That's three 4-star backs behind Kaaya lol.

That's true, and I was going to throw T Homer in there, but I don't think he was a consensus 4 star; IIRC, 247 had him as a 4 star, but Rivals listed him as a 3 star. Regardless, I know for a fact, T Homer is a true 4 star talent.

A lot of guys are like that. Mullins was a 3-star on scout. A few guys have one low rating sprinkled in from a negligent source. That's why just taking the 247 composite is at least favoring the concensus that Homer was a 4-star player.

We didn't have a chance with JJ prior to Richt. As bad as things got with Golden the talent was still there to win, maybe not championships but definitely multiple Coastal titles. That being said, losing a kid like Jeudy isn't that big of a deal. Our recruiting classes will still be improved and, more importantly, the coaching and schemes will be vastly improved. If the current coaching staff was at the helm for Golden's teams (same rosters) I would bet we'd have at least 1 ACC title by now. With the amount of talent we STILL put in the NFL the outcomes we witnessed were disgraceful.

Jeudy is overrated imo. Most his highlights are from camps. I think Mullins is a better receiver than him

I still think that Yearby is our best RB. He ran for over a 1000 yds. last season behind what may have been our worst OL ever. He has elite quickness, vision, change-of-direction, balance and feet. If he ever gets actual holes to run through before he gets hit, then watch out. He doesn't possess elite top-end speed, but neither did Emmit, Gore (after his knee surgeries), Portis and a bunch of other great RB's.

Of course, I would love to have a Dalvin Cook type-of-talent at RB, but that isn't the case at the moment. In my opinion, Homer has a chance to be special and Walton could be a huge threat running routes out of the backfield (as well as Joe). The key is getting the ball in these dude's hands in open space, then let 'em go to work.

Gus is a physical freak, a specimen, but hasn't shown that he can run with authority or toughness since he's been here. Hopefully he can have an epiphany during this regime and his play can finally match the hype from fans.

Now granted, I know that he was pegged to be our starter last season before he got hurt, but the bottom line is still the same. He hasn't done ****. I'm hoping that the new staff can instill toughness and urgency into him. If so, then he has the size and speed combo to be a formidable player.
CaneTheGaytors: This is a fact. You have a lot of fans shaming Yearby b/c he's not Cook. Yearby may have had one of the best quiet seasons in the history of our program.

He had 0 o-line, w horrible play calling selections, and sharing the rock w another back and still went over 1000 yards (barely, but still)

He's hard to bring down, and in the open field, he will make you miss...like, it's a foregone conclusion. I agree, he doesn't have top end speed, he's not a burner, but he's hella quick in short areas, great hands, and has ridiculous vision. The hate only comes b/c he's not Cook. If Cook wasn't his teammate in HS, then I don't think anyone would hate on him so much.

Truth. Of course I would have loved to have cook, but it's not like that level of talent is necessary to be vastly better then we have been. A lack of top-en RB speed is hardly what's been holding us back.
