Vick was a cheat code
I'll never understand the Vick hype translated into actual results. He was a super exciting player to watch run, but he was a below average passer. His numbers throughout his career, both college and pro was pretty bad except for his time in Philly.

If you put him on a most electric player list or a highest ceiling list, I'm all in, but it drives me nuts when people talk about how great he was when there are so many better players overall.

These "greatest ever" questions are always a challenge, but among the best ever non-Canes?

You would have to catch me having a bad day to convince me it wasn't one of Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, or Jonathan Ogden

Suh- dude was insane and a 1 man wrecking crew
Larry Fitzgerald- Man people forget how special dude was at Pitt
,Lamar Jackson- Video game on easy mode
Terrell Suggs- Dude was absolutely unblockable.

Michael Huff- What Vince Young was on offense, he was that on defense. He was top mf tier at Texas

Larry Johnson- at Penn State he was a man amongst boys.

Posluzny- probably Penn State best backer of the decade

It's a lot of "Dudes" we could really list but them dudes I remember vividly.

I said Barry Sanders earlier and I'll stick by that. However, on the other side of the ball it is really hard to not choose Suh. I remember watching this game live thinking "I've never seen a dude other than Reggie White manhandle O linemen like this before." For the younger dudes or anyone interested in seeing what truly elite DL play looks like, watch this clip and pay particular attention to the replays while watching his hands and hips (pause). Dude was amazing:

Mizzou vs Nebraska 2009
Seeing Suh in person you just knew he was different. He was warming up with the TEs catching balls before the game 😂

I haven’t read through the entire thread so apologies for what I’m sure are repeats, these are just the ones I think about.

- Michael Vick was so unique and special at the time
- Larry Fitzgerald was incredible to watch. You just knew he was going to tear it up in the NFL.
- Donavan McNabb used to frustrate me when we played Syracuse, and he was fun to watch as a football fan
- Reggie Bush was unreal; give him his Heisman back!
- Ndamakong Suh isn’t even human
- Christian McCaffery is a RB that to me also feels like a TE for some reason? He’s just so massively talented, just made for football, and like Suh, should have won the Heisman
