I was young when Barry was in college. I remember watching two of his games. We won’t see that again.

vs Miami OH 18 carries 178 yds 3 TDs
vs A&M 20 carries 157 yds 3 TDs
vs Tulsa 33 carries 304 yds 5 TDs
vs Colorado 24 carries 174 yds 4 TDs
vs Nebraska 35 carries 189 yds 4 TDs
vs Missouri 25 carries 154 yds 2 TDs
vs Kansas St 37 carries 320 yds 3 TDs
vs Oklahoma 39 carries 215 yds 2 TDs
vs Kansas 37 carries 312 yds 5 TDs
vs Iowa St 32 carries 293 yds 4 TDs
vs Texas Tech 44 carries 332 yds 4 TDs
vs Wyoming 29 carries 222 yds 5 TDs
I know that you didn’t pull these numbers out of thin air, but they are so unfathomable that I still found myself looking up his stats from that year to double check. He averaged 7.6 yards per carry and 238.9 yards per game! LOL

I’m 34 and from Texas so that natty game for Vince young was special to cap off a dominant season.

Cam newton, burrow, and Derrick Henry are others that kinda come to my head who I thought looked unreal.

Joe Burrow, Ed Reed, Barry Sanders, Charles Woodson, Deion Sanders, Adrian Peterson, Ladainian Tomlinson, Reggie Bush, Ndamakung Suh, Julius Peppers, Christian McCaffrey, Mike Vick, Warren Sapp, Cam Newton, Brock Bowers… I loved Baker Mayfield.

Travis Hunter and Jeantys season are going to rank very highly all time…

I think it's pretty conclusive that it didn't really matter, given he went on to be a NFL HOF'er & whatnot...

Randy Moss is the most electric WR to ever play the game & undeniably one of the top 3 greatest ever. His college comp was inconsequential to his talent.

That's the point.

The inferior competition argument didn't apply to this player either..

Charlie Ward. Nah, Bo Jackson then Charlie Ward.
It’s always been a tradition of mine to watch FSU and root for them to lose(Yes, I’m petty, I know), but let’s just say when they had Charlie Ward and Warrick Dunn in the backfield I went away disappointed on many a night. People will always question whether Ward made the right decision passing on the NFL and going to the NBA. I think the issue is he played in the wrong era . At that time the NFL was still enamored with statue pocket passers. If Ward played in this era NFL teams would be salivating over him.

37 carries and 44 carries that’s insane 😂

It’s so uncommon to see that now with many of the bigger schools splitting carries between backs. That’s why Jeanty’s season was so refreshing to me because so many coaches are reluctant to keep feeding the rock to one guy.

Randy is nothing but a *******. Unless you're a country boy like him. If he can relate to you he's great. I ain't never related to him and we were both far too competitive. I wouldn't argue that statement with Barry but I'm also not 100% on board with it.
So what would be your best single season ever by a player in College????..... I'm on the Barry Train but I love hearing what others think... There's really no wrong answer....LOL

Here's one I haven't seen mentioned yet... Tommie Fraizer.... Had a **** of a run at Nebraska - 2 National Titles is a big deal...

This includes the bowl game against Wyoming...
