This year , who’s going to go down the road less traveled in training to be our X ?
Who’s going to step up and say I WILL ?

This could be our toughest question to answer

GOCANES

I still think most of the production at WR will come from somebody not on the roster. Not sold on the group at this point. Lofton can become a usage monster if Beck checks down more than Cam does.

That type of commitment doesn't come along very often.
This also is a big problem for us the one who understood has left and there wasn’t very few if any who trained and prepared like X .

So you ask a great question, who on this team will desire to be the best ?

You would think our training facilities and film rooms would be packed in offseason ( maybe they are ) .
Plus you would think players would ask , I want what X has please show me .

X trained alone, the only player I remember who trained with X was Parrish and he succeeded very well .

It’s a choice that most can stomach.

To train like no other so you can be like no other.

X an example it can be done and it was , why players wouldn’t flock to follow his way a mystery.

Most will regret they passed up on

I remember when we were accumulating rings , players would compete in other sports. One year Moss and othe speedsters trained in track and set a Big East relay record and qualified I think for NCAA track championships.
They recognized the season never ends .

In my case even though zi was big I trained with the sprinters off to the side doing what they did , because of that at 6’1” 235 240 I ran a 4.7 keep in mind it was stop watch in old days LOLOL. , Chick and I chase and ran everything down NO ESCAPE

Never ever stop training WIN before you play the game.

Pursue excellence and success will follow.

If more people embraced this philosophy the world, as a whole, would be much better in this bitter old man's opinion.

I’m not bitter, never been it’s not who I’am , I just state what is obvious with my experience with people that achieve rings .

I’ve always been accused and name called here , doesn’t bother me at all . I’ve been
blessed by playing and been coach by some of the greatest players of Miami that ever played.

Had opportunities to hangout and play catch and run routes with Jim Kelly and touch football in Chickillo’s backyard .Steve Alvers coach me on interior line play the list is long and distinguished.

I can go on , I know from which I speak and have access to memories of great friendships of the legends my friends and how we played.

X unfortunately isn't a yearly position. He was one of a kind special. Some years he was highlighted more because there was no one else competent.

Right now we don't have anything proven on the roster. I was pleased that the guys in the bowl game looked capable. I didn't see anything special. I just hope Beck has something more than he has last year.
