USF clearly looks better so far. If they played it might be close if Mertz was on target. Hard to say this early really. We'll know a lot more after tomorrow.

UF is better than FSU this year

USF was down to Bama 14-13 going into the 4th quarter this year, in Bama.

USF was down to Bama 10-3 going into the 4th quarter last year in Tampa.

I have no desire for a close game with them and expect and hope we go right in there and rip it open.

With that said, the **** can end up close for a while, but whatever just get the W.

"They held Bama to 17". That was actually the lowest point total their defense allowed all season. Everyone else they played scored more, including rice, who scored 29 the week after.

USF is less talented, but much better coached. Overall, USF is the much stronger test, in my opinion.
